Miranda is superior in every way.
Having a relationship with Ashley is to have a dull fruitless relationship.

Fruitless?! Its Miranda who can't produce the "Fruit of the Loins."

That gave me a good chuckle! Image IPB
I would think that fruitless would better describe Miranda's sterility and not either relationship.

Both characters have their strengths and their weaknesses. And both deserve Shepards that fit them.

So does Jack.

I've never had a Shepard that romanced Jack, personally ... but I agree.

Every available romance has their pros and cons, even the ones that don't last. It all comes down to the Shepard and the story the player wants to tell.
That is why I don't personally believe that there is a "best" romance.

If your not going to let her live because she is a woman, (Women and Children First), at least let her live for Vega's sake, they would make a great couple.

Plus, Kaiden needs a more permanent relief from his migraines.

I can't kill Ash at all.

But those who still like her but who're disappointed by her content in ME3 in a way they can't take Ashley anymore should give her the merciful Virmire end. The other one doesn't feel right.

I use strong headcanon for Ashley in ME3 so she still feels important to me. Call it "love"

Is she always your LI, or are you like me, a guy who won't kill a woman if he can help it?

"I will not abandon Ash, even if Bioware has"

Been saying that since ME2 ;)

I don't kill Ashley in ME1 because, from a story perspective, I find her interesting to use.

I never play femshep, and I never romance anyone besides Miranda. I have no desire to either.

I like how you guys are like "always Ashley". Even after she abandons you on Horizon? Her reasons are petty and idiotic, and she only showed that she was never worth my time anyway.

Of course, my Shepard would have left her for Miranda regardless, but her doing what she did made her an enemy in his eyes.

Ash, courtesy of Bioware, will unfortunately not be there to help recover her husband-to-be from the rubble on the citadel. Another reason to prefer Jack.

Ashley didn't have much in the way of progressing as a character in ME3. She did take a bit of a loss for her character when she didn't express her religious side that much, ,, only refering to Shepard's revival as a miracle, as much as people might dislike the religious aspect of Ashley, it part of her identity. And that was lessened so she didn't develop that much and lost interest. But way before ME2 was released I always choose Kaidan's friendship over Ashley's romance, there was not much from Ashley that appealed to me.

Even with Kaiden as a friend, I can't see myself sacrificing a woman. Even if she isn't my woman, she is or will be someone's woman; James Vega.

Ashley is tough and intresting. I like the fact that she stands up for what she thinks is right. She dosen't let you walk all over her like Liara does either.

Ashley is still one of the best characters even though she started getting on my nerves in me3. Could never kill her. It was just easy to kill kaidan because he wasn't interesting at all to me. Very easy decision and she had my back with wrex. So there is that as well.

Not to mention Kaiden needs some rather "permanent" relief of his migraines.
