That's why I said "in this thread." Your rhetoric sometimes doesn't match your real positions, like when you talked about adding a high-EMS Destroy that left EDI alive.
And of the four things mentioned in that last post, I'd classify two as flat-out improvements in the cost-benefit analysis, assuming the fleet that gets destroyed takes the place of, say, the geth, instead of being just additional losses.
something I just don't understand about the EC

And I would argue that ANY force currently engaged in battle on Earth would be pretty damn well aware that the chances are pretty damn high that they will perish or be sacrificed to secure victory already. The fact that are in combat, at that moment, means they know and are aware and accept what may happen. They may not know HOW they will die, but that is honestly details.

Because there are many possibilities that could have improved the endings, for myself and others. I could, of course lay out what I personally would consider a "perfect" ending. But in the end, what I consider perfect is not important. What matters is endings that a I and a wide number of people would ffind "acceptable" and would have been feasible to implement

The Fleet would indeed be destroyed. And it could still be the geth. Heck it could even be outside Shepard's control who gets destroyed. What's important is that they know their fate and understand the why of it.
A blindsided, offscreen sacrifce is a terrible way to go, after coming so far.

Because they don't care what their fans want, hence why that full fail ending was quite literally a middle finger to any who disliked their endings enough to want a fourth option.
