I have a problem with creating a NPC in the toolset.  The problem is that in my module I can create an NPC, but when I try to make the NPC appear in game it dosen't.  if I go into DM mode and spawn the NPC it still dosen't spawn, it's like the NPC never existed.  However the NPC still exists in the editor and can be placed in the map, why's that?

I'm trying to edit this mod: http://nwvault.ign.c....Detail&id=5653

It sounds like you are editing the original module and expecting the changes to show up in a saved game. Is this the case?

If so, NWN does not work that way. A saved game is a module all by itself, having no dependence on the original module. In order to edit your creature into a saved game via the toolset, you would have to edit the saved game. The problem there is that the saved game has more data to it then the toolset will resave. So you will lose data pertaining to your character that is currently playing the module.

If you wanted to get the NPC into a current saved game, There are ways to do it. Is this what you are trying to do?

No, I'm trying to get the NPC into the game and then starting it anew. Not trying to affect a save game. It goes like that:

-I try to add a character to a module, test the module, but the character never appears in the first place but DOES in the module, I am not trying to edit a saved game or excepting the character to appear in a previous version of the module that is a saved game.

To continue trying to first rule out the obvious, if you are using the "Test module" option from within the toolset, note that you should first save the module, after making any changes, before starting to play through that method.
