You're elite level in ME3 but haven't done SP 'insanity' level?

The only achievements I care are Steam game achievements.

OT Insanity is the last missing achievement, but I don't have any intention of replaying ME3 SP because it has no replay value (unlike both previous titles) knowing that ending will suck no matter what you do or choose in the game.
I better divide my free time between Steam games and occasional ME3MP Plat pug grind.

Sorry for doublepost. I got an incoming call and my Opera glitched.

Its the bloody ending OP. Do you really want to replay the game again when you already know what is waiting for you? Sure, the extended version made it better but its still the same at its core with the bloody kid that you cannot blow to hell.

I confess: I, too, wanted to blow that AI's holographic brains out. Or just man-handle his ass, for coming so far out of wtf-ville.

I'm really glad I'm not alone in my continued bitterness about the ending.

Edit: Eh...too much. Reworded so I don't sound like a child-killing psychopath.

I have all the achievements aside from DLC and insanity. I got to the Reaper you have to laserpaint. Got frustrated and never went back to finish. The combat areas aren't too hard when you have the right squad. ME2 and 3 won't be joining my ME1 in 100%

For a different section maybe, but ME3 didn't hold nearly as much appeal to me as ME2, not the least because I didn't really get into the feel of it, and that it felt a lot easier. By this, all I did was make a Sentinel and bring Liara along with her instant-recharge black-hole-magic, which just turns the whole combat part into a cakewalk, even on insanity. So it's not really a question of difficulty, but the dread of playing the whole thing again whilst knowing whats lurking at the end, which is stopping people from getting it.

I wouldn't call myself elite (veteran yeah, but not elite), but my only SP playthrough was on insanity. Then my PC went into seisures and somehow erased all my SP saves and cheevos, and I couldn't be bothered to replay it all after that, because the SP campaign is a mess that I no longer have any interest in.

Thanks for all the replies. ME3's my first serious foray into multiplayer, having played mostly SP. I find it very addictive! In lonesome single-player mode, for me, the main challenges come from getting those harder trophies (just like Lone Wolf or BOTB are sought after here). I admit being (having been?) a trophy-wh*re). Some are just too much of a grind (example -- BOTB or GTA IV's Auf Wiedersehen Petrovic).

I liked the ending.

p.s. You can shoot the starchild if you want. I kinda like that ending too. I've completed twice on insanity, once as Infiltrator (challenging in places), once as Sentinel (easy)

p.p.s. ME3 is much better than ME2. Weight-based power system is awesome. Weapon selection and modification is better. No tedious hacking. Less formulaic mission structure (recruit new team member, team member has issue to resolve, do loyalty mission). Less "filler" feel to it - you're on a race to save the galaxy, not dragging out a loose story about collector abductions. I did like #2, but #3's darker atmosphere is better. Plus it has moar Liara.

I've played through SP twice and started Insanity (I've gotten almost all the achievements, save a few). Then, I got Omega and Citadel and restarted Insanity. No problem, aside from the problem that plagued me from the start. I can't get my *other* achievements. I can replay certain parts over and over and the achievements do not unlock. I've read up on the parts and some say all you have to do is just complete this or that (of which I do) and it unlocks the achievement, although I have yet to see this happen.

I've contacted support but it has fallen on deaf ears, I have read that they are "working on it" six month ago and contacted based on that.

I've moved on.

I had EVERY trophy in ME2 with 4 playthroughs including insanity but haven't even botherred to finish my second ME3 play through. The writing at the end was just too weak.
