So there I was... with my HVB Typhoon toting Juggy, off host in some random PUG waiting to hook up with some buddies, got dropped in on wave 2. It was Cerberus/Reactor/Gold... wave 4... and they all died... all of them... rather early in the wave at that.

Now... I can clutch this without a problem. I have a Cyclonic III on, Rail Amp III, Disruptor Ammo IV... a normal Juggy loadout. There isn't a unit on this wave that can really even touch me... I can solo this in my sleep. Then it dawned on me... why should I? Why should I reward these pugs with more credits and experience when they refuse to earn it, refuse to medi-gel, refuse to try. I have a maxed manifest... oodles of consumables and my friends have invited me to a party to come play. I owe these non-deserving scrubs nothing... they're just trying to take advantage (a rather common plight of pugs and some scrubby BSNers who will remain nameless).

So... I quit... not bled out and got the wave 3 credits... quit and ended their game. To be honest.. it felt good and I regret nothing. Hopefully... it will teach the three of them to not rely on others to get their credits for them.

So I implore those of you with maxed manifests, who have nothing to prove by clutching anymore b/c you know you're badass... when this happens... just quit. You don't have anything to prove to anyone...

I don't have a maxed manifest and even I would do that.
If only I had more consumnables to waste.

I sometimes quit. But sometimes I clutch and take as long as possible.

I really need to land a game with you where you troll bad PUGs.

He could. With a Biotic Slash Slayer behind a wall. He's that good.

I never had anything I wanted to prove to the random pugs who I'll probably never meet again anyway. I'm still going to clutch the wave unless I'm feeling too lazy.

Because I can.

Well, you would see me casting Dark Channel on a Banshee and never shooting her. Then going around and teabagging worhless teamamates.

Hell yeah... that's the only way to get the job done.

Don't forget the Electric Slash spamming Shadow.

If I sense a recurring pattern, like, say the PUGs bleeding out every wave after the one I just clutched, I'll quit. But if I'm dropped into a game in progress and they all die, I'll die too. I just want to fit in.

I would clutch, if possible. If they were purposely doing it though I would clutch, then leave the last unit alive for as long as possible. It's quite funny really. Either they quit, or they waste 15 minutes watching me shield boost next to a lone husk.

But if they are just bad...I'll help 'em out if I can . Honestly, the game is at that point where a lot of players are playing up, and if I see them put in a decent effort, I think they deserve a few creds. Maybe I'm too nice

How do you teabag them AQ? I'm always interested to find out more teabagging techniques.

If this happens on wave 8/9/10 (before the objective) or 6 collectors, I'd try to save the day, otherwise I'd just quit.

Dooooood. I've been doing the same thing. Only on Plat games, though. Not so much on Gold; I've resigned myself to the fact that the majority of the players I meet in this game just blow. Doesn't mean I'm going to waste my time with people I don't feel are up to the challenge.

I think I hate it the most when you can see how much they're advertising that you'll be doing all the work in the lobby, though; No equipment, terrible weapons/loadout, trying a new kit on Platinum? Lemme know how your terrible game went.

I've been doing this a lot since I maxed my manifest.

Just yesterday, I dropped into a game on wave 3 and everyone had bled out with one pizza left to deliver. I got it out of the way and carried on killing things until there was a praetorian left. Got it down to one bar of armor and then dropped out. They sure as hell didn't deserve any more credits.

There was this other game a while back where I'd soloed most of wave 5, got through wave 6 unscathed, and everyone bled out at the start of wave 7. I committed suicide and sent them a message saying "Sorry, but I wasn't going to carry you guys". If I wanted to play solo, I'd be doing that already.

You should have whittled it down to one enemy, then make them watch you used your Typhoon to draw an olympic winner's podium on a wall, with a scrubby loser on third, circle it, then write "Go back to bronze, scrubs!"

Then quit.

Yes... in hindsight that's what I should've done. One Nemesis left... light melee her a few times, run away, shoot all their corpses, then quit.

Still waiting for AQ to tell me how to teabag... I only know how to do it by taking cover repeatedly, or doing it in the objectives/bleeding teammates.

I would lovingly render trollface on the wall. and then let the last enemy kill me.
