You don't like the sense of entitlement of the people you're playing with but you're going to quit because you feel entitled enough to get good players when you search for a PuG?
BSN logic never fails.
Damn straight. I feel entitled to effort from the 3 other players... yes I do.

What is the point of max manifest if you don't want to/ can't clutch cerberus gold, which is quite easy? What a waste. Almost everybody with bare manifest can clear gold with good teammate.
Why should I? Give me one good reason why I should shoulder the burden that four people are supposed to share...

you only left because you had friend's inviting you. Otherwise, why would you quit if you were just planning to join another random lobby? the same thing could happen in the next game and if you only PuG gold games, they go by fast enough even if you have to clutch a few waves.
Playing a Jug, though, it's hard to keep your team alive if they are out of or refuse to medigel.
I quit on principal... that's the point of the thread. It can't get much worse in another pug can it? Can't find decent players if you're not willing to increase your sample size...

Part of playing PuG is you being better... because you know, they mostly are not as committed as us in playing this game.
If 3 players are already in a game, I usually just try to play the game with minimum effort.
I just hate the hosting players.. who start the game alone and who host gold/plat without equipment.
Other than that, I at least give some other PuG players credits for playing off-host and not quitting the game.
Anyway...

If I think a host is that kind of guy... you can expect me to play like with minimum care in the game.

L2r and read the OP again. There was no team, just a bunch of cadgers and leechers. Everybody here is happy to help and carry if someone is at least trying. These cadgers ruin other peoples games. Look at the completion rates and see what happens if there is noone around that can actually clutch. A lot of promising people has stopped playing because they had enough of the griefing provided by petty bleeders. It's a shame that people like you can't tell the difference between a leecher and a newer player who really is trying to step up the difficulty, resulting in setting very poor standards.hostaman wrote...

Because you joined a PUG and that's the deal.
If you're such a genius that you can only play with experts, then host your own private games.
Otherwise, quit moaning, and work for your PUG team.
It's not the OP fault that people are too dumb to realize that there are difficulty settings for a reason. A teamplayer never goes into a gold + match without gels and rockets (and the zero medgel club is huge). A teamplayer prepares for the next match and don't go with no gear at all + an underleveled character + no clue about how to play into a higher difficulty. A teamplayer can spot dead weight (read: worse than useless) before a match and removes them via kickvote. A teamplayer does not support cadgers and leechers.

Megabeast, but why the heck are you even playing if that's the case?
Just like someone who gets a PhD. They are experts now, so they teach others.
Plus for hanging out with friends and having a good time.

I'm sure that, in those three months, you never had a bad round, and you never had to learn the game.

If you are using term Scrub as noob, I was new player once. But even 4 new players can handle bronze games together.
If you are using term Scrub as a player who does not know one`s own strength and plain sucks, I was never really in that spot.

When I say scrub, I mean someone who can't hold their own. I've seen scrubs in every difficulty level, even Bronze.

Right, but we are talking about Gold games here where scrubs shouldn`t be in the first place...

How will they ever learn if there is no one to teach them or give them a chance? I paid my dues in Bronze and Silver too, but it was only with patience and not giving up that I learned how to play PuG Golds. You won't be prepared for Gold if all you play is Bronze and Silver, so you have to take your lickings. If you're a player who's in position to help, then why not help? It's like 20 minutes out of your day.
I get what you are saying.
That`s why I said in above I give them credits for not quitting at least.
I guess we are not really talking about honest scrubs here, rather the leechers who refuse to use even one medi-gel.
It is true that a player might be just trying out Gold for the first time.
I learned my Gold games by playing FBWGG & Geth Infiltrator.
That hunter mode... is really good teacher if you know how to use them right. (In game enemy spawn & movement pattern lesson)
