geth understand that they're creators have a few "lose nuts and bolts". so the geth could easily sum it up that the ball is on their court.

geth can live anywhere but quarians can't? or rannoch means much to quarians, maybe?

maybe out of respect for their creators geth should just leave rannoch. find a planet far far away. with more resource maybe?

can't understand why they'd stick to rannoch, or is this some ultimate trolling by the geth?
rannoch is probably mined out anyway?

I believe that Legion states that, even if the Geth left Rannoch, it wouldn't really solve the conflict between the two races. The Quarians would only get stronger if they got their planet back, and would presumably out of revenge or viewing that the Geth are still a threat, would attack them again.

It's mentioned that the Geth don't really have too many platforms on Rannoch. They work to preserve the planet as a sort of memorial to both Geth that were lost and to the Quarians. 

Also, I believe the Geth view Rannoch as their home. It's really all they've ever known.

Well I hope the Quarian food materials go towards feeding the Turians. Damn suit rats would have taken valuable dextro-based food from them. Good thing with the Geth though. They don't need air, food, or water. All they need is a gun to shoot and a Reaper to kill. Good little guys.

The "real" reason is only because the writers wanted a Geth/Quarian conflict. It's as simple as that.

.  He definayely does mention it yes, I believe in his last conversation.

Legion did get hacked. Manually. In the back of the neck.

Thus enabling its shutdown command.

Funny, I remember telling Legion to upload the code. And telling the Quarians to stand down or get blown out of the sky. Their own stupidity could have cost them and the Geth from the war effort.
