For me, it was the Falcon and the Reegar. The Reegar is still awesome in it's own rights, but I've never been able to figure out the Falcon. Anyways, when were you not allowed to enjoy the cheese?
What ridiculous weapon/power/class did you not get to use before it was nerfed?

Falcon... although it was never massively OP vs Reapers, only Geth due to a lack of heavy armored units and Cerberus because the entire faction aside from Phantoms was laughable. Back then there were those annoying issues with projectile weapons off host firing blanks too.
Falcon got the nerf bat, and then we get far more OP stuff in the DLCs.

Didn't get the Falcon before the nerf but I got to experience in SP.
Reegar is the same thing it is now.
Didn't get to experience the Typhoon at launch, but I did play with Sirian's modded coalsced where it was restored to its original state (lolhaxpeaseacheaterz).
Never got to see a full team of FQI sabotaging Geth when you could sabtoage two units at a time though.

I played the Krysea GI only a couple of times before it got pummelled. Didn't use it more because I didn't like playing with a SR that can't headshot.

Edit: Was here since the beginning, but I stopped playing after Rebellion failed to get my attention. Wasn't a fan of Infiltrators until I unlocked the GI, and have had terrible luck with the RNG store, so I never got these weapons until after the nerf bat.
Kinda sad about the Krysae, though. I really wanted to like that gun, but now it's just a very elaborate paper-weight.

Close. I left around Rebellion... D3 was out, Krysae-infested games were just too much, and most of the friends I had weren't really playing much anymore. Came back a week before Reckoning. I missed a lot, yeah.
I don't want the Falcon back to what it was before, and I wish the Krysae never existed. Never got to try out anything after Rebellion until I came back.

I used the Salarian Infiltrator with pre-nerf Krysae when I stepped up from Bronze to Silver, because I didn't want to be a burden to the team. It worked.
