Disagree. It should remain a consequence of going down, and there's little else more gratifying in the game than being able to knock off an enemy in the process of executing and then reviving your teammate. It's the stuff of fairy tales. :P

meh, i prefer the "savior nuke".
res someone, then just as they're about to get synced...BAM! instant hero-mode.

...I've been on the receiving end of that. The "savior" designation is questionable.<_<

1) I like it.
2) I actually like the idea that if you're downed, at the start of the wave someone still have to rush and pick you up... ya know, you got gutted from a banshee therefore you need assistance from that puny medigel...

Would be nice if the executions was easier to interrupt and the dead cam was more zoomed out so that in all cases you could see if you was about to get stomped. Also would nice if mobs didnt ignore being shot at and turn to your body and stomp on it.

It was an error in the game that made it so enemies didn't exxcute on Gold. I'm glad they fixed it. It's now (kinda ) functioning  like it was supposed to. I will say I feel there should be more of a delay before execution but oh well. As to those who whine about executions three words, DON'T GET DOWNED. And stop crying your gonna rust your armour.

Right, because not going down is as easy at saying it. How're those matches with Phantoms/Geth/Collectors going for you?

I never played this game during those mythical times when enemies didn't stomp on higher levels... I don't mind it since I've never had it otherwise, but it's more the camera that annoys me. Can't see crap, so I pretty much blow through gel just so I don't get stomped by something I can't see.

Off host they are pretty annoying if significant lag.
Not possible to see it coming so I just gel as soon as I go down unless I know that there are no stomping enemies close by (when downed by a boss from a distance)

What should be redone though - as also has been said before - are enemies hovering over your dying body just to stagger / stab / grab you the second you get back up (especially if you're the last guy and everyone else has bleed out).

What I hate with a passion however, is the OHK-units setting themselves up for insta-kills by meleeing another player. Especially Phantoms. Who hasn't had that experience before: You turn a corner, minding your own business, next thing you know you get a katana through your gut. You didn't even see your squad-mate dancing with the Phantom, but you're the one getting skewered...

Not fair!

As others have said, the only time I get frustrated by it is when the camera angle is messed up and I don't see it coming.
