If you use the "Quick Reply" form, or if you click the "BBCode" button in the standard form, the Firefox spell-checker works just fine.
It seems to be something with the WYSIWYG version of the standard form that prevents the spell-checker from working (probably because Firefox doesn't see it as a normal input textbox).

Actually, I just found out now, that Quick Reply does spell checker.. its only when I use the full version does it not work (like when I go off to quote somebody)...

Another oddity just found out. The text that I type here in Quick Reply, does not automatically copy over to the standard form.
