there's tons of players still on PC. Possibly over the summer holidays the player base might go down to a degree, but not so you'll end up with the same players all the time.
I play with a friend most of the time nd pick up 2 randoms on Gold. They're always different and range from godawful to amazing.
And also, if you ask on BSN you'll be able to add people to your friend's list fairly fast.

This said, Origin will drive you nuts : it will show no mercy . Your game will crash, you will get disconnected in game, you will restart it many times , your friends will sometimes not show up online , it will fail to check your DLC . But otherwise it's a work of art. ( the black one) .

It's cool. The Pugs are 50-50. A lot of really bad hosts about (whether it's unstable FPS or unstable connection half the time, I don't know).

You can extract on a PC PUG Gold, about..50% of the time maybe? Obviously more if you're a great player.

Good thing about PC is, you can safely PUG without missile glitchers or cheaters in general.

Also it's very hard to find cheaters, i've been playing since demo and I haven't seen more than 4 in all that time.

Also yes, all PC players are cheaters, we modify our files, Challenge points and N7 rating as well as all console players are missile glitchers.

What's the point, you guys don't have joypad support. Was gonna join, but I'd rather go to crappy PS3 to take my chance with collector freezes, crappy auto aim again, lower fps, res, and what not for my next manifest, just because it has joy support. All the difference in the world.


And just being a master race player ain't the best thing (leads to more bias problems and missing out on too many exclusive games/best ports/etc). Having access to it all, as I do, and making a decision based on all the info I gather up is the best thing however.  Bah, bye, only bias race.

It ain't dead, but you have to face it; it's been out for more than a year and BW has stopped supporting it. Its not going to last forever.

i have no trouble getting into a game, although it is atleast 50% drop-in verses lobbies when I start.

And gold is also a 50-50 mix of good players and pretty poor ones. If you can carry, then it can be entertaining, to a point

go retire again or dream your korean.  People cheat on all platforms and since xbox has more players there are more cheaters.  Its also easier for pc to cheat solo so just becuase you dont run into them It doesnt mean they arent around.  How would the average joe know if someone was using an aimbot or a 66666 fury in a game???  If he makes bronze pay out like platinum then solo's he was there he cheated despite not running into anyone.

lol, you talk about 6/6/6/6/6 like if it were doable only on PC, plenty of Xbox players have done that.
About aimbots, it's easy to find out, besides aimbots are not free, you have to buy them, that's why it's very very very hard to find someone using it.

And most important:

I did something really stupid on this issue. I purchased ME3 when it first came out, finished the game and play a bit of multiplayer, then I moved on. Many many months later (almost a year) I decided to reinstall the game and play a bit more single player and multiplayer.

When I first tried multiplayer, it seems dead. I would wait forever to join a game and even when I connect, there's always only 1 other player. Still...it was a weird way of fun.

Then I found out the problem, there are a lot of free DLCs released in between the first release and the current time (May 2013) and I need to install them all so that I can join other players easily. Once I've done that, finding games to join in isn't too difficult.

In short, if you purchase the game now, download and install ALL the free DLCs and you'll be fine.
