So, what's wrong with matching uniforms?  Militaries aren't the only ones with matching outfits. Do you really need to have a catsuit on a character to recognize them? Because if you do, then I pity you, I really do.

Yet, you declare practical protective gear to be military issue as well. However, this is not the case. Civilians (corporate and not) can and do use hardsuits to protect against enviromental extremes. You make little sense, and I wish that you'll rethink your overly zealous defense of the borderline idiotic (from a combat point of view, which this game revolves around) outfits that do not make sense with battlefield hazards, whether they be natural or artificial.

No one said that they have to look like grunts of a unit. It's called customization.

It's not about recognition, it's about characterization. If you can't grasp that childishly simple concept, then I pity you. I really do.

A cat burgler is not going to come across as a cat burgler if she wears combat fatigues. Would someone like Kasumi wear combat fatigues in real life, danger or no? I really doubt it.

In heavy combat where stealing is not being used? Yes she should be wearing combat gear in COMBAT. You don't seem to grasp the simple concept of combat and nonb-combat. What Kasumi does for a living is nowhere near the level Shepard and her crew does on a regular basis. Kasumi could easly wear comfy light armor or simply put armor pieces on her armor or wear a helmet like the Fury. The list goes on. Same with Jack, Miranda, Samara ect.

And Jacob of all people (who's a soldier) would know to wear some kind of armor in combat, even if he's a biotic Image IPB

I wasn't too happy with some of the ME2 outfits, but I could actually live with everything without complaining... until Ash's ME3 outfit. They went full retard with that, in my eyes.

They 'went full retard' because what? Because it's blue?

Yeah, you finally got it - I hate it because it's blue! Now we never have to talk about this ever again. Image IPB

The fact that his chest piece is just a latex shirt was lulz. He is ex-Alliance, now he wears latex clothing.

If that's what people had actually been suggesting, I might be willing to listen. Instead, we've got a thread full of people shrieking that every character not wearing 200 pound armor is the STUPIDEST THING EVER, EVAH and that BioWare is stupid and lazy for not making 36 outfits.

See, this is is just utterly moronic. Jacob's armor is perfectly fine. No, he doesn't wear a metal chestplate. That does not make him stupid.

Um no. Stop spewing hyperbole. Making a casual outfit and making two combat outfits IS NOT HARD TO DO. They did it in ME3. The issue is Liara and Javik have breathing mask for no reason at all. Don't give me that Bioware could not give the squadmates in ME2 a casual outfit and two combat outfits. Bioware either was being rushed, didn't care, sex appeal or was too lazy. The whole "These outfits made the characters more uniuqe" is hogwash. All it did was make me laugh at them and wish I had my old squad back during ME2.

He's wearing a latex outfit. A latex outfit. Unless the future has super duper latex in the future, it's stupid. Mordin and Liara had good light armor, why could Jacob not have it? I can apply it to Samara, Miranda and Jack.

Then you obviously having been reading these posts, nobody said each squad should wear Heavy armor

There has always been light armor, medium armor, and Heavy armor.

They all could've had atleast some type of combat gear from Missions

Your constant idiocy concerning ME 2 would be a lot more credible if you weren't forced to continually rely on your ridiculous delusions to sustain it. You talk to anyone who actually works on modeling outfits instead of just whining about it like you do, and they'll tell you it's a lot of work.

There's also Ashley with only one set of Heavy Armor and the rest are just stupid, when in ME1 she stated that she prefers heavy armor in combat

I prefer Bioware sticking to that "unique" look, since it doesn't bother me personally, in terms of "lore" or "realism", in reference to the breath masks in ME2. Though, I would prefer "unique" armor in combat situations, for example - a light armor for Jack, where it's all scratched up and has "scars" like her and graffiti, in relation to her tattoos. It would of been great, since she's a biotic, but I understand Bioware's mindset towards the unique look they were trying to capture.

If anyone can let me know, how hard is it to design armor, like Miranda's DLC armor in ME2? Is it really that difficult?

I don't know what Jacob's armor is made out of, but it looks just as substantial as Liara's. This is just nonsense.

Nice flaming resort. We're done here. You don't even have the gal to properly defend your case or admit you are wrong, instead you decide to flame me.

We have proof Bioware can do it, you think peopel want to put heavy armor on everyone when that is false and you keep pulling the "Making models is hard" bullcrap when people are aksing for a few outfits, not 28 or any other absurd number.

Your post proves why people just laugh at you.

I would like to point out that everyone else has calmly explained their point to you over and over, while you have become more and more upset in response. All the while your interpretations of what people are saying have become more and more dramatic.

Fortunately the one suit of armor looks really good.

Now if we can just convince Traynor to lend her a uniform...

They can do it, but they choose not to in ME2, for whatever reason and they learned from the feedback in ME2 and we have ME3... with the different "armor" types.

I perfectly understand Bioware wanting to give a unique look and I'm all for it, but they could've also been logical when it came to combat gear and outfits too

Look at ME3, it basically had the same dev time as ME2 can they have unique looks and unique armor

So armor design shouldn't really be that hard

I'm sure modeling outfits take a lot of work, but not so much that it stopped them making dozens of different sets in the first game.

Gee, I bet it couldn't possible have anything to do with the fact that the models in the first game are nothing but palette swaps of each other? That couldn't possibly make the task easier, could it?

I agree that armor does look good Image IPB

But was it really that hard to come up with two or three more armor sets

Three examples: a variation of Tela Vasir's armor, a new design for her classic Phoenix armor, and maybe the N7 demolisher armor but in Alliance color or camo

No it does not. It does not fit him at all. He is a soldier, he should be wearing at least meduim style armor, not latex armor that makes Miranda run for her money.
