I have a mike and I use it. Most of the time I have NO idea if anyone's listening; even when everyone else in the session has a mike I get NO feedback. And if those folks are in a party chat, they can't hear me anyway.

People rarely speak in game, unless I wind up last man standing in a wave. Then they talk, but fortunately it's typically "to your right", "behind you", etc, type advice and that is appreciated.

Ahhh, yes my silly social fo-pah of mike... How I regret you so, however, to you that have answered my question. I understand. I just like to tell my team mates brute behind you, etc.
On a side not, why don't you enjoy conversation, you anti social people, I enjoy how random they can be. (also, typically the people with a mic have a higher skill level.)
