The massive nerfs to Decoy and Combat Drone that they never tried to balance out.

Sabotage getting killed.

The Krysae getting destroyed. Seriously, once that gun got to "crap on everyone, semi-decent on Infiltrators" it didn't need to be nerfed another 3 times.

Supply Pylon nerf.

The nerf to Devastator Mode. It's the only nerf that's ever substantially changed how you're able to play the game. No more 3 shot Raiders...

Combat drone & decoy nerf

Yeah, I see many players mentioning that and I agree.

These are some other victims of anti-camping movement done by BW.
BW could have reprogrammed brute/Banshee to attack pets properly instead of ingnoring them completely...Image IPB

Those things were done shortly after PPR/Typhoon/Raider introduction...
Damn power creep I say.

This thread makes me really sad. It's very sad how these stupid nerfs destroyed the game. Things should have been kept in their original state. Not only did they take all the fun out of the things they nerfed, they also pissed off a lot of their fan base. Why they would do such a thing, I have no idea. It baffles me. Who here is happy that their typhoon now sucks balls? Who here is happy now that their AIU has a much, much shorter repair matrix? Who still uses their krysae? Who prefers to charge up their acolyte for a whole second rather than fire off shots almost as soon as pulling the trigger?

Damn...damn it to hell.

This.

Juggy and Krolord were/are more OP than AIU. She was fine the way she was.

For the next mass effect multiplayer, upon release, all the weapons should be made of wood and not have the ability to shoot bullets, they should just be melee tools. Then they should start buffing the guns slowly, giving them the ability to shoot bullets, then very slowly increasing the damage and whatnot. Also, all characters should be released without any powers, they are only able to melee, their melee damage is increased when they wield the various wooden weapons.

I think that's the only way to avoid the major nerfing crisis that ruined ME3.

Rather than nerfing so many guns so many times why not simply buff the enemies?
Krysae and falcon were stagger locking the mooks? No prob. buff thier stagger resistance. Also buff some of the ****ty guns like the GPR and disciple.

Anything that affected a small number of characters that weren't super powerful in the first place.

Sabotage nerf (well, maybe not all of sabotage nerfs were stupid, but the latest was)
pets nerf, at least the Decoy could be left alone, because the name suggests it is a distraction.
I don't remember how good Vindicator was pre-nerf, but I used it on some classes, wasn't excited about the nerf.
Krysae murder was unnecessary.
I'd say that stupid nerfs were more numerous than the justified ones.

AIU was a stupid nerf.. It just shifted the balance of pugs over to the Juggernaut.

At least with the AIU you can learn maneuvering.. The juggernauts just stand there and if enemies get close you drain shields.. Be a distraction.. Be a decoy.

I have enough decoys when I pug TYVM.

Though the first nerf was more than I would have liked, I do think a degree of nerfing was justified.  You could one-shot a gold nemesis with one cloaked sabotage.  It was a bit too powerful, imo.  Extremely high direct damage (could also one shot assault troopers and centurion/engineer health, so you could use it like a reverse SI), while also doing a large debuff +doubly powerful tech bursts to boss characters.

The second one was unnecessary.

Nothing compared to the vindicator or carnifex though.

Carnifex, Decoy and Sabotage. Sabotage being the one that shows Fagnan has no clue what the hell balance is.

I would say the falcon, but then again, I can't remember what it was like. I just know it was good once.

The only thing wrong with Sabotage's damage was the debuff stacking.

I mean, a GI's Proxy Mine can do upward of 1700ish damage (enough to OHK a Gold Assault Trooper) and no one cares.

Carnifex nerf would have been justified if it happened much earlier. At the time it was implemented though, power creep had rendered it a pointless nerf, yeah.

Vindicator, yeah I don't know what they were thinking. Like maybe "OMG this gun has almost as much DPS as a Predator! Nerf! Neeeeeerrrf!"

Lol no. Overall, the balance changes have been positive for the game, and anyone who left over them were just whiny crybabies who couldn't tolerate losing their instant IWIN buttons.

The Typhoon is still one of the most powerful guns around.

Who is really upset about that? It was her melee nerf that was pointless. The Repair Matrix nerf was totally justified and really pretty tame.

I do.

The Acolyte is widely considered one of the most OP weapons in the game even in its current state.

To me, the game is much more fun with all the balance changes and variety they added. Singularity is a prime example.

1) Typhoon is still one of the best ARs.
2) AIU? Should have never had RM in the first place and definately not on 24/7. Them stealing all the grenades gets tired quick though.
3) The Krysae is the one gun in this game I have never used (pre- or post-nerf), talk about boring. Kishock is where it's at.
4) I love the acolyte charge mechanic, gives it a unique feel. I died when they uncharged it for a while. It's also quite a powerful scrub weapon, suprising that a minor inconveniance turns off players.

So, no. You do not represent the ME3 playerbase, and neither do I. Keep your opinions, just know they aren't gold.

On topic: Combat Drone, Carnifex, Vindicator.

Preach it brother. You are an excellent ninja!

Here you deserve this:

Edit: Serously, it's freaky that you made almost the exact same points!

The Smash cooldown nerf, after they buffed it, really ridiculous to buff something by that much and then to take a step backwards.

Damn...damn it to hell.

These two statements are completely in contradiction with each other.

And no, most of the things didn't really kill the fun. Krysae's dead, but the other **** you mentioned is still awesome, and the AIU is still OP as ****.
