There has come to my attention that some items seem to be impossible to get unless you buy a certain collectors edition.. Actualy to recieve them all you have to buy a lot of editions (doubt anyone would do that)... This is in my opinion very crap!!! I mean wtf, if i buy the collectors edition, which i did, I would want it all!!
So for god sake make them downloadeble, at least for a price.. This I Believe is a reasonable request!
Take a look at this site.... It shows all "addons" except for the "Guildmaster belt" I believe!
http://www.geardiary...re-order-money/
... I mean wtf! You buy the best edition you should recieve it all!! Or at least downloadable content for a price.
What do you guys believe?
Make all "downloadable content’" downloadable!

Oh dear, yet another person complaining about the different retailer exclusives.
The items are not end-game or game-breaking quality, just little extras to encourage you to buy from a particular retailer based on which you prefer.
If it really, REALLY matters that much, why not (as others have said) create the extra items yourself in the toolset)?

Waaaah, I want it all, I want everything, I want it want it waaaaaaant!!!!
If you can get everything in one edition, then what is the point in bringing out several different ones? You buy it through Steam, you get item X, but it through EA, you get item Y. It is simply a way for different retailers to stand apart. Something nice to put in an ad. We are not talking game-changing content here, but just some stupid ring or belt that lasts for 5 levels.

Yep once again another whiner....
Dude you bought a edition and got extra stuff. Good for you. Oh no but others got DIFFERENT ITEMS so of course your best option is to whine on the forums and hope that people would care? I mean come on... this your first time preordering? Cause a lot of games do this.
The point of having different items is for retail competition. Whoever has the best will sell more copys. End of story. IT is not like the items are end game or going to make your character a uber god....
just play and have fun...

I don't think he's so much of a whiner, as he is a guy that doesn't quite understand how those bonus items work.
Those bonus items were exclusive to certain retailers. Amazon.com got the "Lion Paw Boots" exclusively for them, Gamespot got "Wolf Charm", EA store got some sort of ring and so on. They are just silly bonus items for different retailers.
Most of the time Gamespot offers a "preorder bonus" item, it may be digital or even physical, for major releases.
Anyway, the items you get from DA:Journeys and the Collectors edition (Dragon Armor is high level, and looks to be very powerful, and the Grimoire gives you 3 extra stat points to spend, the staff I haven't used) are MUCH better than those pre-order items. Also, the Character Creator gives a ring with +1 all stats, also much better than any silly "memory" ring.

I agree to one fact.. I am a whiner! But come on, it is annoying!
"Copyright Theft", I would surely create the items in the toolset if I would bother trying to learn...
Its actualy not so much a question about how powerfull they are, I just more or less want to enjoy it all. Ive always been like that, and my student colleague also thought it sucked. "Spaghetti_Ninja" explained my personal issues with his first sentence!
As I spoke about earlier, I would just as well BUY the extra stuff from the homepage, but its not available. I just think thats bad. The fact that some items are exclusive to some editions is really not that bad.. Just that one can not experience it all by buying it freely, thats bad!
"Rakan13", I am not familiar to other games that does this.. Maybe some do. And i have preordered before, but not to often.
Oh well to heck with it, ive played the game for some hours now. It is a lot fun! No doubt a big upgrade from neverwinter nights.. But still not as good as the original rpg king "Baldurs Gate"!

I understand War-Neck completely. This is a completionist / hardcore RPG gamer's attitude. You don't want to miss anything, leave any crate unchecked or leave any area unexplored. I know it coz I'm a "completionist" too. Just bought the game and I'm trying to get as many DLC as I can.
Btw you can try your luck on ebay. I saw some promo codes for items there being sold.

I agree with op, tbh this DLC stuff just leaves me sour. I want all the content, I dont want to buy umpteen versions of the game. In future if this becomes a popular way for companies to retail content, for me the incentive to buy new as they hope this DLC stuff will encourage. Will in fact for me mean I wont buy games until theyve been out for at least 6 months and have bundled there content. In the short term this is a good way to generate revenue, I wonder though if long term my view wont predominate and intial sales of such games will plummet.
Not like I can see into the future, but in the present this doesnt work, bundle your content in future mmmmmmmmkty.

you could just go buy all those copies from every single retailer if you are that determined, i'm sure bioware/EA will thank you.
