And if so, are you putting it off because you want to wait until closer to the release date?

Personally, I've wanted to start a new playthrough recently, but I'm going to wait until a month or so before the new game comes out so I can 'flow' directly into DA:I

Was thinking about starting in a week or so, not sure though. Been itching to play the games again is all, not really for the purpose of a DA:I import.

Planning to. I was actually waiting for the DA2 DLC to go on sale before replaying, but I missed the sale by one day back in February.

I'll replay DAII because I still haven't created my perfect playthrough yet.

Then after I play DA:I and learn more about the effect our decisions in the previous games may or may not have, I'll probably go back and replay them both before playing DA:I a second time.

Nope. DA3 will eliminate the need to replay games to set world states, so I ain't even sweating.

After we get some info and get closer to release, I plan to. I hope to finish DA2 the day before DA3 maybe. Just because.

I'll probably replay it just to refresh my memory. So if some NPC from DA2 pops up, I'll know who it is :P

No. They've said DA3 will have other ways of setting the world without importing, which would make sense considering the game may be on the next-gen consoles.

It's a good thing because I don't particularly want to play through either of them again. I'd have to play Origins again the exact way I did before to get the input I want and I don't feel the need to play DA2 more than once.

Just completed a dwarven noble campaign in origins. Currently enjoying a no Mage run in Kirkwall.

LOL I've experienced all the variable content, in one way or the other. I can patch them together like a crazy-plot quilt in my mind.

Not to mention my expectations of how imported choices will matter are rather low. I don't think it will create much difference worth mentioning.

Or that all imports will actually work. Yeah...

I recently admitted to myself that my perfect playthrough involves killing Anders (*dodges flying objects*) so I need to go back and do that with the kind of conviction the act deserves.

I deleted and replayed my main DAO playthrough a few weeks ago (still have to do Awakening) and plan to import that and re-do my main DA2 playthrough.

The XBox One announcement has me thinking this is all entirely pointless, but I like the games so meh.

Well I'm doing a playthrough of Origins now. Likely the last time until after Inquisition has been released. Won't be replaying DA2 again unless the usual way of importing is there along with setting the world state questionnaire type deal. Always get sucked into setting my "canon". Will be a grind if I do but eh, still haven't set my "perfect" playtrhough of DA2.

Ermm....if you were replaying the games just for save states, you wasted a lot of time.  You could always just edit your saves using a hex/savegame editor.  Maybe even through the console.

Have done it twice this year, so Thedas can probably live without me until DA:I is released.

for the consoles, how could DA2 and DAO affect DA:I if it is on next generation consoles?

I honestly hope that DA2 doesn't have much of an impact on DA:I because nothing really game changing happened

I was roleplaying for seeing all the content I could. Having multiple save states is something I did for ME, but never wound up using any of them in ME3 aside my first.

i played DA:O enough so that I saw literally every scratch of variable content. It took me 8 playthroughs. DA2 gave me much less incentive to look for variable content... namely because, aside from the romances, there aren't a lot of branching choices and hardly any that don't have more than two outcomes.

Hah. You think you've seen it all in 8 playthroughs? Try 34. Get on TEWR's level.

I just finished my main play through for my main canon story.  I am now playing a mage play through so that I can see what happens when I side with the mages.  That is if any of the choices you make in the games carry through. Posted Image  I have played the games so many times I lost count, but I wanted to do the completionist run for both a non-mage and mage run through.
