"oh, Varric said that this is how it happened did he? Hahaha, no he was just lying to you. This is how it really happened.
-says Bioware, taking full advantage of the infallible retcon device that is Varrics narration of DAII.
Exactly how much overriding of player character save states will happen, or if it even happens at all remains to be seen obviously. And until I know for sure, I'm saving replays for later. ME3s ending basically destroyed any faith I've had in save state continuity from Bioware.
Will You Replay DA:O/DA2 Before DA:Inquisition?

No replay for me. For Origins I couldn't possibly play the Fade sequences again because I'm afraid I might actually die of boredom. I've heard that can happen.
For DA2, the last impression burned in my mind is NONE of my actions throughout the entire game having any consequence - you have to kill everyone no matter what. I'd rather be shoe-horned into an on-the-rails plot than have a sense of agency the entire game just to have it ripped away from me in the end.

I've just started my replays now, been about a year since I played one of the games to the end so figured it needed to be done!

When the game is close to it's release date, I'll play the high points of the two games. It will be like a "Previously, on Dragon Age".

I'm replaying Origins right now, but it's more to help me keep my mind off of E3 and the long, long wait until we get some more DA3 news.

Completed a new playthrough of DAO and Awakenings, currently in DA2 Act 1.

No, I do not own DA2 and the Nexus will make whatever save configurations available as dowloads, or a manager to make your own game save import file. Yes, the Nexus is just that awesome.
I have considered buying DA2 but I am a completionist and get all the DLC for games I buy (except ME3), and to get DA2 with all the content would cost over 80 dollars lol
Having said that, I only want to buy DA2 because despite no toolset (you better make one for DA3 or I won't buy that either), the Nexus still has mods to change things for the better.
I am already replaying Origins though, I do that on occasion.
What I would like to see is a far better import set up than ME2 had, one that actually tells you the decisions you made on a character that will be considered in DA3.
Also, I want the option to import characters from DAO straight to DA3 because let's face it, DA2 is not for everyone.

Yes, but only once they announce the release date.
To be honest, the thought of going through the Deep Roads again is... well, frustrating, to a point.

I still have a bunch of things I want to do in Origins! I've already started my replays but I'll probably do two more

I already have both my Canon save as well as my "free-run" save (hopefully it can be transferred).
I usually play as "myself" when I play an RPG for the most time and thus, my female Elven Mage Warden and Sarcastic Female Mage Hawke saves will be used. I was hoping to play as a Mage first but I want my Canon DA:I to have a Mage as the protagonist (my Canon Warden was a Warrior and my Canon Hawke was an Archer/Rogue). So this time, I will probably be playing a Warrior when I do my "free-run" so that I won't be spoiled. I hope there is a Chevalier background....

Re-doing my canon save files of Donovan Tabris and Raven Hawke. Maybe Thanatos Amell and Nyx Hawke as well...though neither Thanatos nor Nyx is as important as Dythus Cousland and Phantom Hawke!
