 Hi, I've played through 2/3 of the game and I am simply quite annoyed that my character is missing the ranger class. I've purchased the manual from Bodahn in the party camp quite a while and I do not see it appearing for my character.
I've revisited Bodahn's wares again and again and I can't locate the manual again. What has happened? Is there a bug?

I'm rather disappointed that I'm not able to enjoy expanding my character's talent for the ranger class. It's not unlocked!

Any workaround? Are you guys aware of this bug?

I'm still keeping my spare specializtion point hoping some way that the class can be unlocked. Do I have to fulfill quest first?

Do you need to read the book? Also, you can buy the book and use it to unlock the specialization. Then, quit and reload a previous save and the specialization will still be unlocked.

no quest is needed to fulfill it. it unlockd right away for me on purchase of the book, infact I cheated on it. saved, bought the book, let it unlock, then reloaded the save, and got my money back and still had it unlocked.
