For some reason, all of Shale's talents have suddenly lost their names and descriptions, and now Shale's become useless in combat, just standing there and pounding its fists together.  What's going on?!

Nope, PC version, third playthrough.

On second thought, you haven't set the tactics to make her do stone aura righ? She sometimes freezes on it.

No and no.  I don't download mods on principle, and I have her tactics set to Scrapper.

Well Shale is rather buggy for me whenever she uses stone aura, so I usually only trigger it manually, so make sure to remove it from your tactics and check if it works.

If not, sorry I cannot be of more help, you might have to venture into the depths of the technical forums...

This has been reported before. At least the talents issue. All talents are called "Shale", right? Did you contact support about this?

All the talents were blank. But now they're back to normal, since I restarted the game. Talking to Shale, however, no longer seems to work, because when I try I get the message you first get when you find Shale in Honnleath, which triggers the quest to activate it. I have no idea what's going on. As I said, this never happened on any of my other playthroughs.
