Now, i'm not saying the actual communtiy of COD (As in, annoying squeakers and angry nerds yelling at each other) but moreso just a larger, more mainstream community, or do you prefer the the way things are now? It seems i'm getting recognized in lobbies daily now, and i'm also running into people I know from the BSN/played with before in previous lobbies. It's like everyone knows everyone, which is nice, but it also means that the community isn't as big as other games and any loss of players means alot more than it would to something like COD.
Discuss.
Do you prefer the tight-knit community that we have, or would you prefer a much larger one, like COD?

never game a damn about this before.
Still don't.
there are enough people to ignore as it is.
I wash my hands of this weirdness.

A larger player base would be ideal the fact that we are running into each other so often in lobbies means the game is getting closer to death. I liked it last summer when it was easy to fill a lobby and always met new people. Now I see the same few good players and too many low level noobs. 4-5 months ago the first 4-5 pages on bsn were all within an hour now we are lucky to see half the first page of threads active within an hour.

Please, if one more new person tries to join BSN i think the usuals here would have a mild stroke. Unless they came in with some kind of video proof of their game play.
Then maybe they would get a welcome after the witch hunt. BSN couldn't take anyone else. buttholes would explode from pain.

Not sure if, you mean like, are more players better if the players aren't bad?

How it is now is nice, it reminds me of when I was playing MNC (Monday Night Combat). Small group of people, where anyone has at least knew a couple of people.
I also think it is better for the game to a degree, however I am not opposed to a larger player base. There were discussions (civil for the most part) about balancing, maps, tactics, bugs, etc. and different opinions were expressed. It is easier for the devs to interact with us and visa versa, it helped shape the game to a degree. You just simply don't get this type of dev involvement with other games (props to devs), such as CoD.
Also in saying that the game deserves more players. But as long as there are people to play with, I am happy

I haven't been playing a lot lately due to RL demands but- I'd prefer a larger playerbase. I love my friends and playing with them- but I'd like to see a bigger player base and I don't think there is anything wrong with that. Just means more fun IMO. I worry about the servers being shut off and all because of the chicken little attitude on BSN so it makes me a little wary to know our numbers are decreasing :\\

It's kind of nice, I feel like If I keep playing I'll know everyone on PC and we can be one big happy creepy family soon, but it also feels kind of like the end of days sometimes, meeting the same people over and over because the population is slowly dwindling...

I like it and hate it. Since I sold my PS3 forever ago, I play ME3 at my friends house on the weekends. Sooooo, in between that time, people are probably like "WOW PSYLIS IS SUCH A SCRUB". Like last week, someone told me my friends kid was on my account missile glitching. Not a good look for me. Then there are other times when my friends (have to take turns on those magical weekends) will randomly meet up with you guys during a PUG and score like 50k...and I'm just sighing so hard.
It's a bitter sweet story. I mean, I get to still play the game, but damn, I really don't like the fact knowing that some people may think I'm a total scrub because I'm not even the person behind the sticks. Whenever I run into you guys, I play hard as hell because of that.

This doesn't feel like a tight-knight community at all.
Well that one is more due to there being nothing new to talk about, with content and balance changes being done for good.

I wouldn't call it tightly knit, I pretty much pug exclusively and I've run into only 1 bsn'r since release; there are 3 other players I regularly see but aside from them every lobby I'm in has different players.

Bigger the player base the better it is for the developer and, thus, better for the player base. Personally I'm still seeing a lot of new players picking up the game. That's a good thing.

more is always better
however, i don't remember that many names and i don't run into bsners a lot when pugging (if i do, i am not aware of that)

I imagine that some names would become familiar in COD over time, if I played it as much. It's fun having a friends list of ME3 players, but when the game is done and done, I wonder it'll translate into playing other games?

It is possible to have both. But probably not until ME 4 comes out.
