The one we have now, all day every day. This community is the main reason why I kept on playing this game.
Do you prefer the tight-knit community that we have, or would you prefer a much larger one, like COD?

Imo bigger is always better when it comes to gaming communities because there will be more players across all difficulties and thus more lobbies, which should mean less lag and lower search times.
Having said this, there's something to be said for recognising a name in the lobby and knowing you won't have to worry about their ability to handle themselves.
But on the whole I'd rather lots of players, rather than fewer.
