I been diggin that recon hood, but I'm still wondering if there are any armors that are, well, slimmer. Compared to the lighter armors in the first game, a lot of these armors seem bulky, especially for an infiltrator type class.

They probably seem Bulky only because that Shepard probably is a Soldier.



Armor will scale to classes now. If You're an Adept, you'll never encounter armor that a soldier would

Something caught my attention near the end of the video...



It would appear that Ashley is the canon surviving carry-over, hmm? Or is it gender-specific, with Ashley for males and Kaiden for females? Maybe it's a tease, possibly being from an "Ashley" transfer file with Kaiden being the canon survivor?

So I've heard, but I'm still seeing bulky looking armors in character vids of each class. Then again, it seems like they were all wearing the starting armor of the game.

The cannon survivor is Gender Specific, and about the armor weight

I was able to spend time with the leveling/ability interface and armor customization. The armor and weapons skills systems have changed significantly. No longer are there different armor weights; armor weight changes depending on your class.

Hmmm, really? I don't think so at all, the Adept Reveal shows Shep wearing very trim armor

Looks like the standard N7 armor to me, which still has a certain bulkiness to it.

I'm not ruling out that there will be lighter looking armors though.

I think it's actually love interest-specific. If you check out the old E3 Reveal dev diary that same scene has Liara running up the Shepard instead of Ashley.
