Most diverse array of builds of any kit. Perfect synergy in not only his three powers but also his melee. He can be the best sniper in the game, best SMG user in the game, best shotgunner in the game, best melee kit in the game. He is stupidly OP in the right hands yet sucks in the hands of crappy players unlike the Ghost, AIU, etc.

perhaps one might define perfection as biotic kabooms

his light melee is less perfect
also doesn't have any jiggly bum hop action

Though he is the best with the Talon, and when you average across everything, yeah.

My observations:

1 - You lucky bastard. I wish I never played with bad AIUs... 

2 - Perfect Synergy bumps up against a wall of tears caused by the blinding, eye-bleeding nature of Hunter Mode.

Every kit sucks in the hands of crappy players. The whole BS about the GI taking skill to play should just stop - he takes a modicum of skill, but once you figure out how useful AoE staggers are playing the GI becomes almost brainless.

Also, he doesn't really have the most diverse array of builds. Maybe three. The sniper build, the shotgun/SMG build, and a melee build.

If I had written this topic I would have named it "The GI is the most unbalanced kit in the game." Because no kit should be so good at everything.

Agree with title.

In the hands of the weak and ignorant, he is pretty much on the ground. Those with skill make him unmatchable.

I just rediscovered the score-whoring joy of the Damage Taken evo of Proxi Mine... I had been running with a Plat Speed running hipster 55663 with Slow, which is still scary scorey ****y, but not like that 46664 Damage Taken build.

Of course, without the slow evo I find myself soloing a lot more. PuGz....

Edit: I agree with some of that, lightswitch, but not all of it. AoE school is important for GI training, but equally so IMHO are soft-cover/RHA undrrstanding and "Offense is the best defense" school.

Playing a GI well demonstrates skill in this game, not as much as playing Vanilla Humans perhaps, but still. He is ridiculously OP in good hands though, and I love him for it. That unit has a heart......

Paladin has better synergy with powers....there is no way you can full spec him and not create a combo, GI is better only becoz of weapons being op to powers but even then a paladin well played can go as well as the geth.
On being well balanced i may agree but synergy of powers i may not

Krolord is a damn instakill waiting to happen in most games. Kroguard cannot keep pace with a well played melee GI; he melts whole spawns in under a second on gold.

Paladin is another good kit as far as synergy with all powers and his melee. Still not as good as the GI but close. BW should've made more kits like the Paladin though which are solid all around. There is always one clunky power that just doesn't belong.
