My girlfriend isn't well endowed but she has a personality that can brighten anyone's day and a smile that will warm your heart.

That's certainly nice to know.

What's the appeal of this series ? Is it just the fighting ?:innocent:

I would say the gameplay and style. Combat/fighting actually takes a back seat in this and it places a higher emphasis on running and trying to escape from enemies, as well as keeping up running momentum/finding new paths. The gameplay has a really nice flow to it, and it is very engaging.

Personally I found the time trials to be the best part of the game. Experimenting on maps, trying to find new/quicker paths was interesting. Theres something extremely satisfying about going through an entire map flawlessly in that game after countless fails (you could fail a jump just for moving your mouse 1mm to far, or jumping 1/10 of a second too early).

The animation style is pretty unique too, everything is very vibrant... and shiny.

The plot is completely forgettable, tbh I have yet to talk to someone who felt the game was worth playing for the story.

ME is one of my favorite games of the last gen. Hope it's good on my PS4.

But with EA wanting mp in everything, how will MEdge2 do it? if any.

My guess is the online feature will be a, "make your own missions type of thing".

Some new info about for Mirror's Edge 2

http://www.escapistm...etails-Jump-Out

http://www.rocketcha...22-infromation/

NOTE: None of this information has been confirmed by DICE

Some interesting notes:

- Complete Reboot of the story

- Open world environment (Yes)

- Rebuilt combat system to blend in with the fluidity of teh game better

- Seen as a racing (running) game

- 2016 possible release date

One aspect people are focusing on is that it states:

"an open world environment includes a persistent, “always online” component. The open world is considered a multiplayer “playground” where other plays can drop-in/drop-out seamlessly,"

Some people are interpreting this as always online like Simcity but I can't really see this due to the backlash from the release of that game and this may be more in the style of Dark Souls or even the Need for Speed/Burnout Paradise games where you can enter another persons game if they allow it.

Again nothing here has been confirmed (or even verified) by DICe or a third party who has seen the same gameplay footage.

It would make me happy if they did indeed focused more on the "runner" aspect.

Again nothing has been confirmed and we don't know if the component is going to be like Simcity or if it's going to be like Burnout Paradise/Dark Souls where you can activate/deactivate it to allow people to enter the game world.

"Always online"

Ea you better hurry up and explain this. If it's like dark souls I can give it a pass, if it's like sim city I won't even touch the game.

If it's only online then that's a shame. :(

If you can still have the ability to play offline in the city sandbox, then it would be great.

I hope so because all the rest of those combat/running features sound amazing.

I wonder why people would focus on such a harmless, little thing?

Seriously, EA/DICE, choose your next words very carefully.

If it's always online, welp that just shows EA has not learned their lesson. I wonder if it will take 10 failures till they realize constant online is stupid.

For a game of that type, the Burnout Paradise/Dark Souls method would work an awful lot better. I'll wait until we get confirmed info on that before bursting out my handy pitchfork. I'm glad it's still alive, at the very least. A rebooted story sounds good - the mechanics were nigh-perfect, it was the story that lacked for me.

So if this is true the new Mirror's Edge will be basically a MMO?

What a damn shame...

Machinima did a video on this article and they state that these are all rumours and should not be taken as fact until EA or DICE make an official comment due to the article being ambiguous about it sources.

Machinima also comments that the always online component may be more like the game Journey where players can jump in and out of the game as they wish.

Found the first game's gameplay to be frustrating - Whoever thought platforming from a first-person pespective was a good idea needs to be scolded. A shame too because that's what the game had going for it. Despite those frustrating camera angles, and how it handled on PC with the gameplay, it was decent.
