I'm curious to know how this Faith is different from the previous one, since this is a reboot.
And I'm curious who's the VA of the new Faith. I really liked her original voice. It fit her perfectly, imo. But then again, I liked Faith overall. I hope the same will happen with this one.

First person platforming is about as intuitive as Sonic the Hedgehog in 3D -- It just doesn't work. I'll pass. It looks pretty nice though which the first game certainly did too.

Well...it works well enough for Mirror's Edge. If it didn't, it wouldn't be nearly as big of a hit as it is.

That or 2D are essentially the only way I see platforming functioning properly. Mirror's Edge's controls were clunky, especially some of its parkour controls, and the inability to tell whether you have the right amount of momentum of making a jump, or walking against a wall was annoying.I take it your preference is 3rd person platformers, yes?

Anyway, I hope the firearms in this game are strictly optional. I dislike how the first Mirror's Edge forced us to use a rifle in Chapter 8 in order to rescue Faith's sister. I'm cool with weapons as long as we don't need them.

I really hope that this turns out good... I really, really enjoyed the original. Mirror's Edge was certainly flawed, but it was without a doubt a flawed gem, and a niche classic. I'm excited for its return, but worried that they'll expand on its combat, and quite frankly, the inclusion of forced combat sections in the original was one of its biggest flaws.
That Kruger dude in the blue, is he like a personal antagonist for Faith?
