This is still COERCION. It is *not* willing.
There are many case of incest, not underage one, but mature incest where the victim never report to the authorities for years until they cannot hold it anymore...for those years are are willingly cooperate with the rapist, because of thinking they are family members, don't want shame and so on...they are willingly raped
Qistina, take it from the people who aren't ESL speakers when they say you are not using the word 'willingly' in the right way. Seriously. We know the word better than you do, very clearly. Stop insisting you're right.

You look wrong because you are wrong.

Rape is NEVER willing because THIS is the definition. So stop it.
rape

- instance of rape: an instance of the crime of rape
- violent destructive treatment: the violent, destructive, or abusive treatment of something

I think you must be right, HC. Qistina is either trolling us hardcore or just doesn't understand the implications of some of the vernacular being used, even if her English is otherwise impressive.
As to her refusing to consider that she may be misunderstanding... you can't teach someone who won't admit to themselves that they may have more to learn, and you're wasting your time trying to help someone who doesn't want to be helped. There's also the possibility that as an admitted rape fetishist she just has very set ideas about this kind of thing.

It most certainly is not. Rape is, by it's very definition, unwilling. You cannot rape someone willing as rape is unwilling. Always, no exceptions.

oh ffs. You're being pretty offensively ignorant.
If consent is not given, any sexual contact is rape. If people don't want sexual contact but feel ashamed to report it, that's STILL rape. If people are duped into staying silent because of family relationships, but don't want the sexual contact, that's STILL rape. If they don't mention anything for ten years then report it to authorities, that's STILL rape.
Rape is NEVER willing. You can keep saying that but it's a contradiction in terms. By definition, rape is not willing.

You're right -- they're the same because they're both impossible.
English is our first language, and we're trying to help you understand it. Do yourself a favor and listen, because we're trying to understand where you're coming from too, but communication can't happen until you admit that you may be incorrect or may have misunderstood something. This is a discussion forum -- we use it for discussion. You won't get anywhere telling a group of native English speakers that the English/Western definition of our own words is incorrect.

This.
Qistina that word does not work for what you're saying.
As the phrase goes "you can't rape the willing"

I don't know... I'm starting to think that she really means it the way that she's using it. Like she honestly believes it isn't rape if you manipulate someone into having sex with you who doesn't want to.
And that is so, SO frightening.

Right, but comical delusions are only one step away from dangerous delusions, I think... when your beliefs no longer have any attachment to reality it's not hard to see how that can go bad places, fast.brushyourteeth wrote...

Qistina please, listen to everyone. You are using the term 'willingly' incorrectly. Speaking as someone who have lived through one of the scenarios you outlined, just because you keep quiet and do as the much older and stronger individual tells you too, does NOT make it willing.
