Because we just beat the most fearsome Synthetic monsters the galaxy has ever seen. So if the future Synthetics aren't chill like the Geth, then we'll waste em. I'm not worried. What you think Synthetic life will eventually destroy all Organics? Please. What did Jeff Goldblum teach us?

"The kind of control you're attempting simply is... it's not possible. If there is one thing the history of evolution has taught us it's that life will not be contained. Life breaks free, it expands to new territories and crashes through barriers, painfully, maybe even dangerously, but, uh... well, there it is."

He also uploaded a virus to an alien mother ship using nothing but a laptop.

Jeff Goldblum is the deadliest SOB in space!

Is this what passes for intelligent responses to a perfectly reasonable comment?

When you really think about it, it would probably cross one's mind that it may be trying to sabotage you. I mean, look at your options. Two of them require you to commit suicide. I'd think it was a trap if I was Shepard.

Even if I "can" beat them, every time, I rather avoid having to walk down that bumpy road if I can help it.

The Catalyst has no reason to lie, and all it takes is a modicum of reasoning to deduce as much. It saddens me that that's apparently beyond the capability of so many people here.

If you disagree, by all means, I'd love to actually hear what you think the Catalyst stands to gain by lying.

Meh. It's the same sort of speculation that Asimov pumps into his endings, borrowed like most of the rest of Mass Effect.

With synthesis, life does not have to be like that.
