As a standalone, I think 3 would be a good game. Minus some parts, it's not even that bad.

But compared to the other two... It falls into Return of the Jedi territory.

As it is, it is by far and away the most disappointing video game I've ever played. What could have been versus what we got...

A while ago, I said: The average gamer isn't into peace, or philosophy, or intrigue, or stories. They just want to be a stereotypical Saturday morning superhero, they want to be the good guy. They want to be that so that they can kill things without conscience. It's all about the killing of things. You have to be more than an average gamer to want something better than that, because most gamers settle for black & white plots where an extinction agenda of an entire species is tied to a high-score leaderboard.

Now I say: Look at the OP. I'm kind of amused. People like proving me right.

It takes a shrewd, wise mind to know when you're overextending your technological and scientific reach.

I guess I'm not an average gamer then, but I still don't like the execution of Green.

Do you also happen to be one of those people who actually believes there is a correlation between playing violent video games and real life violence?

Yes, he does.  I have recommended several times that Auld Wulf stay away from video games, movies and TV commercials.  Yet apparently he keeps on flying towards those bug zappers.  You can't save him.  All there is to do is enjoy the entertainment of the frying bug.

It's completely possible to appreciate and respect violence without being a thug or a moron. Rare, but possible.

Interesting thought David; I would wonder at the philosophic basis for finding virtue in violence.

One could perhaps support the notion that the cause and purpose of said violence should be the true targets of said appreciation...though that is not what you said, now was it?

Sophistry and Rhetoric seem to be the true past-times of this forum...

Unfortunate, isn't it?

Violence is one of the most intimate actions human beings can share with one another.
