Hi Everyone,

So! What challenges do you think there is left to do in ME3 multiplayer? What has not been done? I mean there are challenges that are just plain nonsensical and shouldnt even be tried (e.g. Level 1 Volus adept platinum solo with the katana) but are there challenges that have not been done already in this game?

Come up with your fun and crazy challenges that you think would be cool to see done which you believe has not been done yet!

Who knows? Maybe there are actual new doable challenges that need to be broken.

Not quite what you are looking for ... but for me, the challenge is to be a much better player. I have a very shallow learning curve (but once learned, I never forget) and I am just now becoming a decent player. Not one of the best, but finally, someone who can do well on Gold.

For folks of your game skills, that isn't saying much, but for me, it's been a long journey, one that is not yet finished. I've had a lot of help, from folks like you, videos, threads, stats, everything and anything that BSN has offered.

So ... you want a challenge ... how about teaching pugs how to play? Not just one pug, but every time you pug. You have already shown the teaching talent in your videos, now take it live and teach the masses to fish, don't just feed them for a day or limit it to those who come to BSN. Take it to the vast, unwashed masses, the great majority, that has never spent a minute trolling the MP forum.

I get this. Believe it or not though most of my subscribers are not on BSN at all. I think BSN contributes maybe 5% of the subscribers to my channel. In other words I am doing my best to teach the unwashed masses as you say. Thing is that its hard to do that in PUG games. I PUG quite a bit and people would be annoyed if I tried to tell them what to do. I could always recommend tactics, builds, play styles but even I would be annoyed if someone was on the mic on a pug game trying to tell me to play one way or the other. 

The best thing I can do is help a few players at a time...which I have. Its not something I have publicized before but I have kept many a player around me to help them reach their potential on higher difficulties. Its not a small number either. So yeah I have done my best to do this. Unfortunately I also have my day job and personal life which doesnt allow me to do a ton of what you request. I can always do my best. Dont think I havent though. If you are on xbox...hit me up. We can game and maybe help you out with what you are seeking as well.

As you say, you are already doing it ... pretty cool.

And yes, you can't teach everyone. I think you are doing your part.

In my small way, I am trying to do mine. I've added a bunch of new folks to my FL and trying to help them, plus a bit more vocal in pugs, to try and coach folks making "new guy" mistakes. Like you say, no one wants someone nagging them, so it's in bits and pieces ... they may see value in what I say and we progress as a very temporary team.

Just wish I had the imagination to come up with a challenge that would interest you, but creativity is not my strong suit.

Edit add: I'm on PC, so won't have the opportunity. On the bright side, some folks on PC took me on a few trips around the Gold match, helped me a lot to improve my play. I've already embarrassed them by calling them out, so I won't do it again. But it was appreciated.

Its a hard solo for sure. I have to give it to HardcoreSalmon for actually besting that challenge. I may just trade notes with him or actually watch his video. Normally I do not like to watch anyone else's vids on a challenge that I plan to do myself so as not to skew my own way of handling a challenge. I may just check his out though. We'll see.

For me I just realized I have done a lot of lvl 1 Gold solos in my days but never a lvl 0 Gold solo. I guess that's one of the only "challenges" left. Also, one could always improve his time in a solo, so as a last challenge maybe it could be to do a Gold solo without armored compartments and below a certain time?

What's a fast time for a gold solo on Xbox?  Just wondering.

Fast solos

Seriously, at this point that is the only true measure of succeeding at completing a harder challenge. Everybody knows any solo can be done with enough patience, even the ridiculous level 1 setups. A speedrun however is always a challenge.

I know it's harder to do fast solos on xbox, but it's the only thing worth going for if you ask me.

Out of curiosity, what are the fastest times for gold and platinum solos on xbox? Try beating that, that would be an interesting challenge to see.

10 waves survived speedruns, that's also something worth going for.

I found a new challenge recently. I go to bronze pugs, ask people if they want to move up, and train them. Mind that as one of the posters above, I'm not able to solo gold 100% yet, but can carry a team. It feels good when you get a full gold extraction with a team of 3 people, who have bought this game like 1 month ago.

Yeah, that's apparently correct according to annomander's old solo thread. Saeed has a 32:13 run with the Drell Infiltrator (that's really neat actually), while Harcoresalman has a 38:50 run with the Geth Trooper.

Sub 30 console platinum solos (even with the most OP setups, who cares)? There's something worth going for.
