Sure accuracy is great, but when a Shotgun has to use that to try and get in the lead?
It's like arguing that it doesn't matter your car can't go from 0-60 in 1.2 seconds because that wouldn't be legal.


The car example is not valid because we are talking about performance. Not about what is or isn't forbiden.

As we are talking about performance, we have to take in count every detail of each shotgun, advantages and disadvantages.

Raider 4 shots > 2 Claymore shots, that's a fact, yes.

But when we move to real game, we have to take in consideration the spread, recoil, target's distance, etc etc etc etc.

when we move to real game we see that Claymore has better accuracy, therefore if you are not in the enemy's face you will get better results.


And even if you are in their face you have to shot twice to surpass Claymore's damage, , 1 shot will always be faster than 2. So you are "wasting time", of course, this doesn't matter at all because Raider has good rate fire.

Crazy? No but he is definitely a classic that will never grow old. I still prefer the Batarian more but running around with my Cryosoldier build never gets old.

Also he doesn't need to make the screen weird colors/hues to get his -permanent- 57.50% damage bonus.

You mean quad raider.

Crutchmoar double shot using only AR damage bonus (70%) 2 shots = 4449 damage.

Seen as how you have poorer accuracy, the chances of you landing all 8 raider pellets outside of very close range (even using SC) is highly improbable so your damage figures against most mook level enemies and bosses that are smaller than praetorians / atlas are pretty over-inflated. I'd also love to see you hit banshees with 8 raider pellets at mid range.

I'd argue that classes like the geth trooper and destroyer are better raider / auto-matic users than the human solider, but I'd argue the h-sol is better for slow firing weapons.

No no, the bug is the evo listed +75% damage to shields and the other +75% to armour, when they actually only deal +50% on both.

Not a waste actually, still good.

You know... after playing the beta and then 700+ hours of MP game play... I dont think I have ever even tried the Human Soldier.

I'm the worst sniper of this game, so no :P



Lately I've been using a cool build for the female one.

I use Talon with the power AMP mod and the other that increases damage in 50% with AP ammo, spec'd for Granade damage and blablabla, with Power AMP IV and etc. Spec'd for pure power damage, etc.

lot of fun with her.

The male one is full spec'd for weapon damage.

You are not crazy but just stupid, Geth Trooper (Flamer), N7 Destroyer (Multi Frag Grenades), Krogan Soldier (Inferno Grenades) & Batarian Soldier (Inferno Grenades) are just miles better than the Default Human Soldier (Frag Grenades). Turian Soldier (Marksman) & Turian Havoc (Stimpacks) are also better than the Default Human Soldier (Adrenaline Rush).

Adrenaline Rush is not necessarily outclassed by any power though.
It cannot be because its power skill tree provides quite some variety.

Uhm. Human soldier is great. Much better than people give him credit for.

But best soldier? ... No, I don't think so.

That title belongs to the batarian I'm afraid... Afraid cause I don't like it much. Oh well. I'll stick to my Javelin Geth Trooper, he gets the job done well enough.

Human soldier is easily the most exciting soldier because HS plays strictly on rule of kill or be killed.
Other Soldiers are more straight forward and can have better DPS over time/better stagger tool/better debuff/less weapon dependency.

Don`t make me mention Geth Juggernaut again though.. 100% mission success guaranteed by Geth Juggernaut is untouchable.

Call me stupid, then says Havoc is better than Human Soldier. FTL pls.

1. Frag Grenades > Multi-frag Grenades, Frag Grenades , mainly when you are not very close from the enemy, because Multi frags are not very accurate and their range is not great, you will always get a killstreak easier with Frag Grenades than with Multi frags.

2. Inferno Grenades it can possibly be the best Grenade, but they have a disadvantage, while they are better for bosses, they do not deal all the damage instantly, meaning that Frags clean a spawn of mobs much much faster.

3. LOL HAVOC > Human Soldier?, FTL pls, before call me stupid check your own nonsense, tell me how Stim Packs are better than Adrenaline Rush? , why would you have to defend yourself from dead enemies?, How is Stim packs better than Adrenaline Rush when the Rush give you a weapon boost of +70% that also give you some shield support and instant reload your weapon. Besides, Human Soldier has better powers ( besides of more damage output ) than Havoc. 

Havoc has: Cryo Blast, Havoc Strike and Stim packs
Human soldier: Frag Grenades, Concusive Shot and Adrenaline Rush.

FTL pls....

4.  While Turian Soldier has its marvelous perks, I still think Human Soldier still better. Just for the fact that you can't use powers during Marksman, meaning that if you run out of ammo and thermal packs you are instantly useless, that's whithout forgetting the lack of mobility, Human Soldier is far more versatile, Adrenaline Rush gives you +70% damage with weapons, shields, and granades that doesn't need cooldown....


So FTL, don't come to me telling me that i'm stupid when you say so much nonsense.

That's the origin of my signature.

The thing is, I do not have anything against FTL as you know I try to respect everyone, even if he says something that i'm not agree with but if he says it as an opinion i'm fine, but not, he insist in attack me in every thread talking with insults and stuff as you just saw he called me stupid, then I challenge him and he runs away and hide, a friend told me he is just a pugstar who can't play with the big guys. I don't know if that's true, i haven't played with him but the reports say he nukes on extraction and then posts screenshots about his games being "better" than everyone.
