 If you read any article they say that it is beening target for a 2014 release window for next gen thats only because none of the next gen consoles will be release untill the end of this year so no game will be able to be release untill after they are out hint the 2014 release date but for current gen consoles they will be release this year scences they are all ready out so Dragon age 3 will be out this year what do you guys think

Umm... it had nothing to do with any gen at all Ryan. I made a joke that a video of a monkey clapping cymbals would have been much easier to make than whatever it is we have made.

Why Bioware can't clarify us about this console situation?

It's so sad all this stress about where DAI will be playable.

Once BioWare has information to share, they will share it in plenty of time for you to make any console purchasing decision you want to make. Them telling you any information now won't make a new console come out any faster, or make DAI release any quicker. You have lots of time to consider whether you want to purchase a new console, if the new game is announced for new consoles.

I don't mind when it comes out, the later the better, I want all the bugs and as many fixes to the game done as possible before release. No need to rush it, there's plenty of games to enjoy before then, also the new novel is coming out April 2014, so do you really think the game will be released before the new novel is released? I don't think so, I think if anything the releases should coincide.

I think if DA3 comes out in Fall/Holiday 2013 that I will be so surprised, my shoes will turn to muffins and my eyes will turn to grapefruits.

That's how surprised I would be if that target was still realistically being pursued.

Still, if I have to pay $500 to buy a new console just to play a game where I cant import saves from my ps3 games, I am going to be more than a little irritated. Just fyi.

then EA and Bioware just screwed me out of DA3....

Neither BioWare nor EA chooses which platform you buy, nor have they made any announcements as to what platform DAI will be released for. If the game comes out on a platofrm you neither have nor want, I'm not sure how that's "their fault." No promises have been made, and as I mentioned earlier, they will likely announce with plenty of time for you to make your own decisions on platform purchases. That's your choice to not purchase a platform on which their game is played, not them screwing you out of your rightfully owed game.

Its already been stated in a different thread that neither Bioware nor EA have released any platform information to ANYONE, including retailers. ANY listing of DA3 on a retailer's site is purely speculative, and if you or examiner had done any research you'd also know that the listed release date on the italian amazon page was Jan 1st 2020, so clearly not reliable.

Wake up, people. Take information you gather from third parties (especially some random site like Amazon Italy) with a grain of salt. This is just as ridiculous as people throwing tantrums when after the PS4 was revealed Amazon US listed PS4 games at $99.99.

In this day and age you shouldn't be stunned or surprised at seeing placeholders. It's been going on for many, many years.

You mean they will threaten to boycott BioWare and EA games, call for executives and/or developers to be fired, accuse devs of being greedy money-grubbing elitist fascists who are betraying their core audience that made them famous? That just means critics will be exactly the same as with any major announcement people don't like, for every game that BioWare has ever released.

Internet declarations like that actually have very little effect on whether people end up buying or not buying the next game, and sales numbers are the only way to truly indicate how people view the company and the product. This is not to say that critics are wrong or unimportant, or that they should be dismissed, only that their online pronouncements are only one side of the story and not necessarily indicative of eventual behaviour.
