Have we gotten a confirmation yet on whether these exist or not in ME 2? And yes, I've read the Best Buy chat. Casey's answers pretty much said nothing other than femshep won't have a romance with a female human or quarian.

Currently there will be none, but there may be female human and asari relations.

Male/Male romance has neither been confirmed nor denied yet.

None? I heard there wouldn't be F/F human relations (which almost guarantees the Asari Squadmate as romancable).

Is there a verified no M/M romance option?

Through process of elimination and making the HIGHLY dubious assumptions the Developers aren't lying.

* There's no female-female romance in Mass Effect
* Asari don't count as female.
* There's six romances, 3 for each sex.
* The Male romance is probably Suze, Tali, Miranda.
* The female romance is probably Garrus, Thane, and Job.
* Samara has some reasons why she might not be romancable (age, justicar, sexual trauma) but some fans take that as just obstacles to overcome.
* A male bisexual romance is certainly possible and could be any of the three men.  Though Garrus is highly unlikely.
* Bisexual Flings may be possible with Yeoman Chambers and Conrad.

None and I'm a sad panda as I was really hoping for a F/F with SuZe.

PC mods will undoubtedly be available, but lately Bioware has become the NSA in terms of making it difficult to mod their games.

There are three romances for each sex, but did someone actually say there are 6 altogether? If we have another asaromance then Samara could be doing double duty.

And I really doubt Garrus is romancable.

Chris said "Six altogether" I believe.

As for Garrus being romancable, they mentioned that you'd be able to romance characters you couldn't romance before from Mass Effect 1.  They dropped bombshell sized Tali hints but they also mentioned Garrus in a couple of chats as being someone that fans wanted to romance.

I know someone was able to hack the ME1 PC version to play an f/f Ashley romance. I'm hoping the same can be done to get the f/f SuZe romance for ME2. It depends on if Hale voiced all the dialog for it (she did for the Ashley romance).

I will be getting the PC version so...hack time!

It'd be good if it were the case.

I hope they just DLC romance mods.

He said: "Female shepards (and males) will have 3 possible love interests (if I count correctly!)" but not that there will be six altogether.

Edit: Sorry, you said CHRIS. I haven't read anything by him.

There will be none.....BioWare is finally learning to handle romances propperly.

There are 3 straight romances per gender and that's it. Bioware also said there will be no same-gender romance....thumbs up to BioWare. ^_^ ^_^^_^

For males:

Tali
Miranda
Subject Zero

For females:

Jacob
Thane
Garrus

You can consider those confirmed.

... Properly? Is there something wrong with homosexual or bisexual romances?

Them's mighty dangerous words around here.

You can consider those confirmed.

Personally not considering Garrus as confirmed yet. Likely yes.

Also, they never confirmed just 3.

In any case, I think that all of the choices for male/male romance are sort of sucky because of Unfortunate Implications.

1. Jacob, you have essentially people mad that they made a "Twofer" minority.

2. Thane, you have essentially "All gays are aliens" in the universe.

3. With Garrus, its' 2# but also "The only gay option is walking velicoraptor."

'From the blackest reaches of Darth Trethon's ***' is hardly a reliable source.

Subject Zero and Miranda are the only ones that are anywhere remotely close to being confirmed. Even then, they could just be one night stands.

I don't see the issue with Jacob. Then again, I often think people try to -look- for ways to be offended. Jacob is cool. If his characterization is done right, I would definitely do a homosexual romance with the character if it's an option.

Don't act like you don't know about the BestBuy inerview and the video where Casey said that NPCs you couldn't romance in ME1 are back as romance options.

If it means I get Tali, I am willing to conced the point.

Maybe, I guess I'm just sensitive to the fact that there's only one other major black character in the series.  Of course, I like to think that Ashley is just a light skinned African-Aliancean.  It seems that there should be more characters of color before starting to "stack."

Still, if there's a bisexual romance, I imagine he's the most likely.
