The points still stands it's his face, they can't just do whatever you see fit with it.
Actually, depending on the contract he signed, yes they can.

You don't see my point because you fail to recognize the difference between the "black and white" decision to be a ruthless bastard, and a very sensitive "grey area" subject like homosexuality in a predominantly straight society.
The decisions you call the 'black and white' are that way because most would agree that killing, torture, genocide, etc is immoral. It's not a sensitive 'grey' area like homosexuality is, as you pointed out. Homosexuality is grey because it's immorality is debatable.
But do you think it's better for him to be depicted in a way that most would agree is negative (the evil Ruthless way), than to be depicted in a way that just some think is negative (as a homosexual)?

That's moot. No professional actor is going to turn down a role because he has to record a few romantic homosexual lines.DeathCultArm wrote...
Sure legally they "can", but if Mark didn't want to happen...it wouldn't happen.

How so? He can't sue them, he signed a contract. And in his profession, that would be career suicide. This is grasping at straws.

Again..publicity. How would it look if a model reported out how a video game company was using his likness against his will for a *** character..?
He would look really stupid when they bring up the face that he signed a contract allowing them to use his likness as they see fit.

Maybe he would look stupid, but you know i'd work. All people would hear is "STRAIGHT MAN MUST BE *** AGAINST WILL IN MASS EFFECT"..
Two things: one, it's okay to type GAY. Two, why would he cause a fuss? It would not be a surprise to him. Plus, his face is the face of a major and popular video game hero. Why would he want to lose that? Oh, and if he did make a fuss, there goes his modeling career. No one would want to work with him if he's just going to change his mind about how his image is used. So yeah, he would lose horrible and BioWare would gain a huge amount of exposure.
By the way, I'll ignore you if you stop posting.

I have proven my point. You know where I stand on that last question, jlb524. I wish it were that simple, but the fact is that it is not. I have gay friends. I have witnessed them experience great pain in the name of homosexuality. I personally do not object to a male/male option, but that doesn't change the generally intolerant and predominantly heterosexual society we live in.

I wish people knew what asexual meant; Asari are sexual beings and reproduce sexually.
I know ^_~ I just love using the incorrect word because a Dev did as well awhile back. Personal joke.
But, the whole "She's not really female" line gets on my nerves.

In that case my Shepard isn't really female either. So what happened between her and Liara was something beyond what anyone could imagine.
Except Germany and Japan.
