It is really ignorant and pathetic to attack a person that is of different mind/opinion and say he is a troll or unintelligent.
Among intelligent people it quickly become apparant who is lacking the intelligence.
I'm not attacking you for having a different opinion. I'm attacking you because you've an opinion that can't be supported by any actual facts. 4 for 4 of the last Bioware games did have homosexual romances of some kind (Juhani in KOTOR, Sky and Fox in JE, Liara and the entire Asari race in ME, and Zevran and Leliana in DA:O), and so saying that it's not some kind of interest among Bioware to include these kinds of romances because they appeal to a limited playerbase (which again is not just the gay and bi community but also many of heterosexuals who enjoy these romances as well) is blatently ignoring Bioware's actions in the past. It also presents an argument that is easily attacked by saying that Bioware should not include other minorities in their games due to "lack of interest". By this logic, should Bioware remove all dark skin shade options in exchange for more lighter skinned options that would appeal more to the white gaming audiance since the black gaming audiance is statistically much lower than whites? No. Should the option of a female Shepard be taken away since statistically much fewer people will play a female Shepard than a male? Again, no. Should all female LIs be taken away since the percentage of people who romance male NPCs is going to be dramatically lower than the percentage of people who romance female NPCs be? No again. And it's ridiculous to say so. However, these are the kinds of rebuttals the "lack of interest" argument has to contend with.
I hope that handheld approves of this method of counterargument, as I tried very hard to make something that would please handheld.
Well look at that.
You actually made a post with arguments, nice!
If only you would have started out that way, so much sillyness could have been avoided.
There might not be a lack of interest on Bioware's part to make full on gay romances.
But apparently, it is not a big enough interest to include it in this time around.
In an earlier post , someone stated and showed a snippet of a comment made by a developer that the "market" is not large enough to warrant that inclusion in the game if they or on a time budget.
This is what I've been saying that it is still in a minority, except here on the forum with all the threads left and right.
This is just a very vocal group on these forums, that does not necessarily reflect the general populace view.
If it meant that other stuff/levels doesn't get excluded from the game in order to fit in a gay romance, then by all means, include it.
I've seen many threads where there is outright hatred against Bioware cause of the exclusion of gay romance.
It is getting overboard, you just stipulated that Bioware has had gay romance in almost all of their games.
Isn't that a good thing then? Oh, how quickly they forget....
Btw, the "opinion, not supported by facts", well, that is just it isn't it? An OPINION.

I've never claimed I presented "facts" I had several times stipulated that it is my opinion.
As they said, "learn to separate facts from opinions"
However the part about them not thinking it is a big enough deal to warrant gay relationship in the game when under time constraints, also speaks for the fact (their word) that it wasen't a large enough player base that would want it over another level.
The F/F is more popular, at least here in the forum, out in the world of majority I do not know.
As someone said earlier, perhaps they should make a DLC out of gay relationships, it would be a good way to truely measure the interest beyond these forums for such a thing.
It also presents an argument that is easily attacked by saying that
Bioware should not include other minorities in their games due to "lack
of interest". By this logic, should Bioware remove all dark skin shade
options in exchange for more lighter skinned options that would appeal
more to the white gaming audiance since the black gaming audiance is

Shepard be taken away since statistically much fewer people will play a
female Shepard than a male? Again, no
Nice, where it not for one simple rebuttal.
Making a skin color, takes far less time and effort that making up a whole gay romance story, throughout a whole trilogy.
Also, you said "remove" skin shades etc, gay romance according to Bioware was never even IN the game.
So by using an argument like that we could argue ad infinitum.
All in all I think Bioware goes by what interest the majority of the people that buy the game.
I have no problem with adding gay romance as long as it doesn't mean less attention or one less level due to time constraint.
The developers said it right, 10-20% (pick a low number), would have an interest in gay romance, 100% would have interest in more game play.
In the real world gay romance doesn't interest a majority, take it as you want but that is just how it is.
One would be a fool to go by what is posted by "hardcore fans" on a gaming forum and think that is a majority opinion.
