Well it makes sense. Since most guys were drooling over Miranda's ***, while most women were swooning over garrus, or thane, or some other alien.

Interesting to say the least. Considering they've be noted mostly for fan-service maybe that's what they need. And with ten squadmates 3 options apiece is a little skimpy, but that just. Anyway I've decided on Miranda, so it doesn't matter at this point.

Well, maybe Samara is a romance option, too? I just can't see where Tali would fit in though. Especially since there are only 3 romance options for each gender.

Well, Tali was meant to be a love interest in Mass Effect 1.  I assume there's all manner of ideas left over for what to do with it and the Developers stated that she was an Ensemble Darkhorse.  Like Zero from Mega Man X or Vincent from FF 7, she has a very dedicated fanbase they thought about tapping.  If they just wanted to go "Two human love interests and one alien."

Her instead of the Asari seems like a smart move.  Really, it also fits with their policy of "Good Girl" and "Bad Girl"

There's already two Bad Girls.

Tali is the Liara.

Dang, it's looking like ME2's going to be a loveless game for me. 

All of my Liara romanced Sheps probably can't get with her again b/c she won't be around that often, and my single Shepard's possibilities aren't looking so good.

I only play FemShep so...no love.

FEAR NOT, my lady!  For you do have one small ray of hope!  Liara WILL be showing up in Mass Effect 2.  So you can at least reaffirm your love for Mass Effect 3!

Look on the brightside...the Liara reunion in ME3 will be more fruitful, considering you don't die..or Lirara moves on and forgets you, or something else equally as dreadful.

Well...yeah you're screwed. That's proably why I never chose a femshep In ME1. No Ash, and in ME2 no Miranda. So yeah....



Still no F/F is puzzling..really puzzling...I mean who would object to it. Everyone wants it.

On topic: nothing is confirmed as of yet,but things aren't looking good for M/M romance but F/F might just be in ME2 with Samara (speculation)

Could it actually be? That no asari is romanceable in ME2? At least no asari squad member. That'd be interesting.

Well Samara is supposedly a Justicar so it's possible that Samar won't be an option.

I personally hope that Joker is an M/M love interest,but I know this is highly unlikely.

I would play DudeShep except:

1)  Can't stand the sound of his voice.
2)  I can't 'get into the game' quite as much as I do when playing female.

Everyone hates Meer's voices...after 3 playthroughs I got used to it. And yeah I as well identify with dudeshep, well..for obvious reason. But after playing Bayonetta, I might finally consider a femshep playthrough, b/c she changed my entire perception on female VG characters.

And the old bounty hunter as a female LI would be HILARIOUS!
