hey i know its a simple question but heres how it goes.

im just about finished my playthrough of dragon age origin as a evil dalish elf who is a shield and sword warrior , odd am i right but i found a way too make it work lol

anyway im playing around as Leliana during my final hours in this game i made her into an archer and i gotta say shes alot of fun being able too kill with out coming close too them , i was hoping too too awakening and dragon age 2 as my shield and sword file but im kinda thinking of being a human noble archer and just restarting.

now i put so many hours into this game as my shield and warrior and i would hate for that too be too waste but im starting too love being an archer.

what should i do :(

Yeah, I'd say you should play through Dragon Age Origins at least twice, and Dragon Age II at least a couple of hours.

The great thing about Dragon Age is that there are so many different outcomes.  I think the endgame itself is set up to have three or four possible outcomes, if I remember correctly?  Then there's more basic ones where it's completely black and white and you can go this way, or that way; however, those basic decisions do allow for you to play the game at least another once and the result will be, at least, slightly different.

You could finish your current playthrough, but it might spoil your second playthrough, if you're that kind of person.  Personally, when I know what's coming I can't take it as seriously.  I'm at the point where I even know when a particular spider is going to attack me.  Having said that, the spiders do still make me pause the game, shiver and mutter "Jesus Christ".  Personally, I don't think giant spiders should be included in video games as they are just too terrifying.

Go for it, if you think it would be fun.

Actually, you needn't choose between playing one character or another. If you start a new game, there's the option to 'switch character' on the loading screen and when you start up the game, you'll have the choice of which character you continue with. I have 7 characters in parallel that way, works like a charm.

I think the dilemma is that he's invested so many hours in to the character, and he's unsure if he should shelve it for 40+ hours of game time for another character. Personally, once I stop playing one character, I rarely ever go back to it.
