well lets just say I won't be the idiot who pre-ordered the collectors edition again (keeping in mind it was the first and last game I have ever pre-ordered).

When I look back now it actually wasn't my fault, their marketing campaign was deceptive at best. I guess we all pay for our education :P

That's stupid. It is completely your fault that you bought a product.

Who the hell falls for marketing these days in the first place? I find it so strange that people blame the company for their marketing devices, when they do what they set out to do: they aim to persuade you to buy their product.

Marketing = 50% bull****. People should have learned the lesson by now... it's the age of mass-media and manipulation.

Waiting... after the ME 3 letdown, and BioWares handling of it, I'm not pre-ordering OR running out to buy any new BioWare games in the forseeable future.

That pretty much sums it up for me. I don't know if I could go back to the ME universe. I might play the trilogy on the PC some day, but only if I get it really cheap, and then install MEHEM. Even DA:I will be a wait and see, and it better have "buy this" reviews from players, and not bought reviews to give Bioware their "everyone luvs us" marketing. Right now I'm playing Fallout 3 and Fallout:NV and waiting for Eternity and Numenera.

Yeah.
I have backed both Project Eternity and Tides of Numenera simply because I felt that both the writing teams and the devs from these the companies that are making the games understand that their players will be invested in these games, the characters and that this investment is a tangible comodity.

Something that Bioware seem to have forgotten.

As far as any future Bioware games go, *any* Bioware game, I'll be now take the waiting stance.
I *will* wait for player reviews.
I will wait for youtubers to post up actual game play and story elements, thus spoiling myself.
I will wait for a good portion of the player base to complete the game since if I am going to spoil the game, might as well wait and see what I am really getting if I do purchase the game, if at all since its already spoiled. Being a game, I do understand that playing it, and watching it are very different matters, but hey, Bioware sowed the seeds for player detachment, not understanding the importance of player investment in a game, you reap what you sow.

No. Mass Effect 3 was awesome. It is my favorite of the series.

No it wasn't.

Yes, it was. It's a fact. It's always fact what I say. Whatever I utter with my mouth or write down with my hands is the pure and unquestionable Truth. It's objective. My opinion is objective. I'm objective. Fact: ME3 is objectivly the best, the ending is objectively good. Objectively. I have proof and solid arguments. I'm the truth. It's my word that matters, because it's the truth: factual and objective. Your's just an opinion.

Plus, I hate Miranda. She's an annoying and badly written character to surve the sole purpose of nerd wet-dreams to come true virtually. She's badly written and lame. It's fact. I'm fact. My opinion's fact. Objective. My, my own.

Everyone has an opinion, but I have the objective, factual truth in my hands. I know better. I'm better.

Debate me!

:lol::lol::lol::lol:...:?...-_--_--_--_-

Miranda is a bad turned good character, she was very bad when we first met her.
That alone makes her the best character in the game.
If she is your wet dreams then it is only because your sex life is null, no offense.
I think you have this hate for her because she still hasn't walked out of the TV/Monitor and placed herself onto of you, since she didn't then she earned your wrath.

It was a deliberately clumsy sarcastic joke from my part and it had nothing to do with Miranda really. You shouldn't take it seriously. You missed the point of the post completely. Don't take everything for face value.

As for Miranda. I find her character somewhat forced and boring, but I have nothing against her, and she has her moments. I don't mind her being in ME at all. Although it's true that some Miranda fans tend to treat the character very seriously, almost fetish-like seriously. The same goes for Liara, Tali, Thane and Garrus. I find this kind of adoration funny and somewhat awkward. But again the post wasn't serious. I just happened to pick Miranda as one of the subjects of this overexaggerated, lame post because the person I quoted happened to have a Miranda avatar and banner. If it was something else, I would have mocked that.

But your "sarcasm" and "trolling post" detector should have gone beep-beep, the moment you read my post. I still don't know how you managed to take that one seriously.

I only made a stupid joke about the overconfident posts and people who treat their opinion as facts. Their statements lack the acknowledgment of subjectivity and that their opinion is just one of the million and not the unquestionable objective truth. What the hell is objective truth in human terms anyway? Especially when it comes to creative products.

Its hard to know when to take you serious or not.
But lol, the real point is whether everyone should start the post with "IMO"and state that throughout the post.
I think they should and will help separate bad opinions from Synthesis cult members.

I pleased that you are developing a higher level of sophistication in your arguments, in particular the use of stupid... an intellectual beatdown even Mark Twain could not recover from!

As for you an individual who is personally connected to bioware, I think its better to let that one rest.

If it's a prequel / sidequel / midquel, then I will firmly be in the "wait and see" column. If it's a sequel, looks good and has good word of mouth, then I might buy it day 1.

Well, that depends... If the advertisements says, "Free soundtrack!" I might go pre-order the Collector's Edition... Yeah, soundtracks excite me...

Although, if a tiny part of the story is revealed, like our enemy being a greater threat than the reaper... screw that... Also, if the main character is someone we know (like Garrus or Anderson or something) screw that, as well... And if it takes place during the First Contact War... They better make is interesting... First Contact sounds like it would make a better movie.

This made me lol because at the time i had preordered the ME3 collectors edition. The company i ordered with went into administration, couldn't complete my order and didnt notify until 3 days before release. So i went to another store on release day and got the normal edition.
