I maxed my Rares back when Earth came out, and if you had them all maxed then it's really easy to get the new characters released during the next DLCs, so i'd guesstimate that it took me about 200 hours to get all my stuff.

A looooong time, When retaliation came out, i still had a few old characters i hadnt unlocked, and then all these new ones, but with the arrival of the Reinforcement pack, i managed to unlock everything. Those and the Arsenal packs worked VERY well for unlocking rares for me

I think well before the 200 hours. Don't quote me on that though, it's been a loooong while ago. And there were lots of characters less, too.

A few days after Reckoning came out, I finally unlocked all the characters. It took over 320 hours, over 1000 games & I'm not even sure how many credits I had to spend but it was a LOT.

I'm at 101 hours... still have 11 characters to unlock. Still need me some of that auto-revive bot, plus the N7 destroyer, snap freezer, and grenade spammer and some others.

I started playing last June and I unlocked the drell vanguard when retaliation came out in October and I was near 700 hours then since then most were unlocked the day they were released.

Bit of a multifaceted question, was i've done it multiple times, since every new DLC added new characters.

I do believe however that I always unlocked them all before the next DLC arrived.

The first time I maxed all of the character appearance options was about a week after the last retaliation character was released which was a little while after I switched to almost always playing gold rather than silver. When reckoning released, I maxed all the character appearance options that day as I had saved up around 5 million credits. I also maxed all the new rare weapons that day and got at least one card for each of the new ultra rares other than the punisher.

just waiting on my huntress to get out of the slammer so we can finally go on that date.
