Thanks for all the tips guys. I just played a game doing the cloak, pm, shoot routine and it made a huge difference.

You're on Xbox right? Join the "Average Xbox Players" group on this forum and you'll have a lot of good teammates for Gold and Platinum. I started the group myself so if you'd like we can play sometimes together?

That sounds good to me.  I'll join the club.  I can carry Geth-Gold all day with the Kroguard but I know that's no special accomplishment.  Just offering in case you need to use crap guns for certain achievements.

That basically means that you can feel free to use whatever character and weapon that you want. And I don't care about challenges so no need to worry about that either

If your working on sniping, nothing beats doing a Rio, Geth, Gold. Yes, I'm being serious. Throw a Javelin on your GI, Phasic III's, Sniper amp III, and whatever else. You'll be able to 1-shot everything except for the Primes. Everything's slow moving so you'll be able to line up those shots.

Camp near the 'box of shame' and funnel the enemies to you. If you start to get overrun, cloak and run to the other side of the map. Rinse and Repeat. For objectives, lure the enemies away and then do the objective. Too easy.

I have a video of me doing it somewhere with the SI. I'll try to find it and upload it to youtube for you.

I wasn't playing all that smart during the objective waves and started to lose concentration in the later waves... nonetheless, you'll see what I mean about it being a good way to build sniping confidence.  I'll add commentary to it later.

I'd prefer save myself the frustration.  That sounds terrifying.  It's always fun watching those types of vidoes though because you see the true player's skill.  The different characters aren't really going to help you at that level, that's all player ability.  You really have to be elusive and move around a lot.

Well, the character I used had 1000 shields and good mobility (could take cover and sidestep). So it matters a bit but in all reality it isn't worth that much when you are at level 0 and with a common weapon.

Anyhow, looking forward to playing with you man, we average players need to stick together!
