 Stikman did a 23 something min gold solo, and someone asked "is this the fastest time?"  I have been doing 21-22 min solos for a few weeks now, never thought anything of it because I thought like 15 mins was the fastest.

i did this earlier, and I usually do this when I don't feel like doing anything else/to farm by myself.

I went a little too op for it but whatever. its a speed run. the best set up for the best time right?

recording is choppy at first, when my capture device, i guess, "wakes up" it turns smooth.

Anybody with a brain should be able to do this faster with this set up. 

If this is the best time, it will be soon that someone else does the same thing and be my time. Thats ok, I gave consoles hope for 20 min. gold solos.

Edit again knockingbr4in destroyed my time and kept calling him knockingbird cause I'm stupid and can't read well on my phone.

Not really. I did a 19:18 with Geth Trooper and had sh!t objectives IIRC. I had not bothered to take screenshot at the time because I thought I did terrible.

Maybe the fastest RECORDED solo, but I guarantee you there are faster (case and point with Knockingbr4in's statement).

I tried a GI Harrier against Reapers on Glacier today, got instakilled on wave 10 objective and it had only gone 18 minutes. I used armored compartments but still had 2 rockets left so I think that it won't be long until someone posts a sub 20 gold solo for Xbox.

I believe that if you keep at it you will break that time very soon buddy!

not that I doubt you, but I can say I did a gold solo with a lvl0 volus with a time of 19:15 but didn't bother recording it.  Plus, doesn't matter what your gameplay was if you were taking a screenshot...

No, I don't doubt you, not at all. I know there is A LOT of console players much better than I, but in my research I had the fastest recorded.

But at bsn I noticed over the past year that if you don't have proof, it's chalked away. That's all I'm saying. Why didn't you take a screenshot? Would have also loved to see it, I'm sick and tired of seeing the same guy from Russia solo with him lol

Agreed. Smooth's Tdome solo time was 37 using GT, so it's def plausible

With a bit of luck (and better spawn control), 16-18 minutes is absolutely possible to get.

I know I stretched it with the volus comment, I know it is very plausible with it

I want people to beat my time. I'm not that great lol nor did I really make attempts at solo speed running in the past lol

Speaking of which, anybody know how to get the Primes to spawn together on wave 9 Glacier/Geth with a high probability?  For me they always split Prime+2Rocket Troopers and Prime+2Pyros+2Hunters(? not completely sure) between the basement and somewhere else.  Wave 5 almost always goes my way though.

Usually, I start the wave either in the LZ on the left side as you look towards the hallway, or upstairs by the ammo box.

no offense; using Armored compartments and a GI, a lot of people could beat the "fastest" gold solo.

Fastest gold solo seems like a bit of a waste to me, on xbox. PC is going to have the fastest overall time, period. We may as well do no AC/Reegar BS builds and do something out-of-the-box (xbox pun).

Things like Krogan/Jugg/Valkyrie/AIU/Reegar are easy to do, and doesn't really seperate us from the norm, just shows how less capable we are than the PC players and their superior controls

That is where I failed. I always keep 4 rockets for wave 9 in case of being lucky enough to get a few big spawns, but they always split, and I end up wasting my time getting them together or taking down the Primes one by one. I'll keep trying, I have a few ideas.
