Gah, giant spiders in Australia? Too mainstream! I once saw a giant praymantis the size of a grown man's foot. Find all wonderful stuff here.

But seriously: giant spiders. Forget Darkspawn, Templars and Demons. Spiders are the true arch-villains of the Dragon Age series.

I used to share a room with these guys to feed my lizard, I think I can keep managing giant spiders/bugs

Ugh... this is why I love my snakes, I will never have to buy creepy crawly things to feed them.

... The worst part was the feeding. Loud crunches and spurting roach guts does not do much for the appetite. ^_^

Lol. Neither does seeing a mouse pop.

Anywho,  I say keep the spiders!  I'm just finally getting used to them.  Failing that, I fully endorse brushyourteeth's pink slug idea.

Imagine. Giant spiders in stunning Frostbite 3 (4? I lost count) detail. Study the anatomy of an arachnid in the kind of detail you never really wanted to!

I bet the lizard enjoyed them.

Anyhow, those things might not be bad for us humans as well.

I wouldn't mind eating insects ,I read somewhere it tastes a bit like chicken! As long as it's not alive ...Food shouldn't move or try to escape your plate ^^.

We don't have giant insects where I live (yeah !:D )
Just one time a huge grasshoper entered my room.He never left , I turned into a hyterical murderous lunatic, I armed myself with a broom. And I murdered Jiminy Cricket like a happy maniac.
Not my proudest moment ...but a good life lesson :those creatures should be afraid of me and not the other way around.

Maybe I can blame Dragon Age for all this unnecessary violence , all those spiders they made us butcher....

Wonder what would happen if they made us kill cute little critters , I remember when playing Wow ,killing virtual whales , deers , rabbits .
They made those noises that always made me feel like i was a really really bad person.
Even in Skyrim I didn't kill all the nice wildlife , like foxes and stuff....

Well , I guess they should stick with the ugly and disgusting spiders .No guilt . :D
I feel sort of shallow now.

Some species may be a health hazard and should be avoided. But otherwise, spiders are good for your home. Best is a couple of domestic species which are natural in houses and know how to behave and how to hunt.

Yes it'll hurt if one is bitten, but that tends to never happen. A bit of care not to accidently flush them down in the bathroom, not to kill them with the vacuum cleaner, shake out your shoes, and everything will be dandy. And you will not have all those creepy crawlies, that you'll have if you don't have spiders.

Giant spiders are so overplayed. I'd love to see them replaced with something else.

Reminds me of NWN2. If you were a Drow or druid you could befriend a gigantic magical spider named Kistrel that would live in your basement. He even weaves a cloak for you!
