Are you going to wait until the next trilogy is released (assuming its a trilogy) just in case the sequels have any surprises that you don't like or are you going to buy the next Mass Effect right away?

There's another thread on this that's still on page one. Look before you post.

If you're referring to the "Will you wait" topic, then that is referencing waiting until all of the DLC are released.  I am asking whether someone is willing to wait for the release of the next trilogy  in fear of being disappointed.

Still extremely similar topics. People are still talking about just waiting a week or so for user reviews

What if one of the next two games (assuming it's a trilogy) fall short of your expectations or just end up being outright terrible?

Don't care.

If it has quarians in it, I buy it. Yes, this is a problem for my current money situation.

I'm sorry to hear about it, I wish you luck and hope it gets better.

You run that risk with every single piece of fiction, though.

Prometheus was directed by the same fella behind Blade Runner.

A Dance of Dragons was written by the same guy who started the Game of Thrones phenomenon.

And so on and so forth.

Yeah, that's the thing.  I think that for someone who has the patience, waiting for the release of the entire trilogy is best or ANY trilogy as you say.  That wait you wont have to worry about any nasty surprises, just in case there are any.

You didn't like ADWD?

Son, I am disappoint.

I was gonna wait till reviews and Youtube LPs to consider the next ME game anyway

Unless it's a prequel or spin-off, then its a no buy

I like it about as much as I liked ME3 in comparison to ME1 and ME2, if that helps.

Still found enjoyment in it, but the creator's original voice gets lost. I also like elements of Prometheus, too.  But they ain't the Martin and Scott they once were.

If the next title has good multiplayer and it's story doesn't take itself seriously like Citadel DLC then I might consider getting it.

Considering the fact that it's coming from Montreal, I unfortunately don't think that will be the case.

I'm glad that the make-or-break point is whether there's a certain alien species in the game or not.

Should Montreal be considered the capital of "artistic integrity", or technically that was actually Edmonton?

Nah, if the first two are good and the third is complete rot, I can just play the first two and headcanon what happens next.

Meh. I don't care about that "artistic integrity" nonsense. All I know is how straight-faced and unpolished Omega ended up being, despite a few interesting gameplay ideas (I like the class interrupt quite a bit).

Okay, where is this? I heard about that, but never saw it in omega. Or I don't think I did.
