I am not sure if these other topics have anything to do with my issue.

My character (warrior) has 2 specialization points, however when I go to level, all of the specialization groups are locked.  I know for a fact that I have talked to Alistair and he agreed to teach the Templar skill.  However, nothing ever came from it.  It's only available to him, not anyone else (me, Sten).

I've gone back to Alistair in the camp, but it doesn't even give me the option for him to teach me anymore.

Am I missing something?  Is it supposed to automatically unlock when he agrees to teach it?

did you download the update? If you did it has a bug that locks all of the specializations. Bioware is working to fix it.
