Ahaha.  I would argue it's more of - most time spent on, compared to actual "right" development.

Tali and Miranda. I really loved tali as a character, her personality is very similar to my own and I just found Tali absolutely adorable :3. Miranda is Australian like myself, and i'm a sucker for a Woman with such a Very well spoken and educated Australian voice.

I'd have to start a new Shepard to do Tali.  I got it rolling with her on an old save with my existing Shepard, but I knew that in ME3 I'd have to have him break her or Liara's heart, so I ditched that and finished ME2 again with her romance unconsumated.  The Tali romance bugs me though, because even among Quarians there is no physical contact because it's too risky.  If she does the deed with Shepard once, the genie's out of the bottle, and she'll want to do it more, and eventually she will get really sick and maybe die.  Shepard would be wise to not go down that road with her.

By the end of ME3 she doesn't even get sick anymore from it. Makes you wonder how many immune system boosts Shepard gave her.

they ( at least to me ) seem to be affected most by it. tali sort of i guess. But i haven't actually played the other romances much, so i could be wrong

I'm warming to the Tali romance. Not a whole lot of content, but it's pretty good quality overall, in my opinion.

Also, I find the space hamster romance terribly dissatisfying.

I have no favorite. There is only one for me. Miranda.

The only other romances I think are well done are Jack's, Kaidan's, and Cortez'.

The rest are just.... so terribly bad.

My canon play through has Ashley in ME1 then Miranda in ME2/3, but I recently played all the other Manshep romances and I gotta say I like Tali quite a bit.

So to the original question, favorite (after Citadel DLC) Miranda followed closely by Tali.

Tali she just has the cutest thing going for her. Truth be told every playthrough with a male shep its Ashley in first, Tali in 2 and 3 or no one in 1 and then Tali in 2 and 3.
