As much as I loved Mark Meer's portrayal of Shepard, I'd rather he not voice a player character for at least a few games. My big thing about the portrayer of the VA is that I'd rather they not be some big VA name - a lot of the Meer/Hale arguments I've seen descended into 'Jennifer Hale is just better BECAUSE' from people who love Jennifer Hale from her extensive body of work. Meanwhile, I didn't see that kind of reaction from Nicholas Boulton/Jo Wyatt. So I'd sooner hope for someone more of an unknown. Obviously not a first timer, given the demands of such a role not being good idea to give an inexperienced newbie to the profession, but someone who hasn't got such a following going in to the game.

Troy Baker or Nathan Lane should voice male protagonist. and have the woman who voiced Okiku from Afro Samurai as female protagonist

I believe so since Greg Ellis voiced Cullen for Dragon Age 3 almost a year ago.

The voice sounds too deep. I can't relate to that. I would like for someone with a voice that is not too deep or too high pitch; what I want is a middle ground. I would like for someone like Nolan North to voice the protagonist. His voice is very expressive.

Jethann sounds nothing like BroShep, so there's no overlap.

And since Jethann's voice is very... welcoming... this is definitely a request I can back! ^^

I couldn't play ME as a male character because of his voice, just like I couldn't play DA2 as a male character because of male Hawke's voice. BioWare always seems to get the voices right for male companions, but when it comes to a male PC...

I'd support Jennifer Hale for femInquisitor though. She has a great voice.

If you played a male City Elf/Dalish Elf and picked the Experienced voice set, you already have one PC voiced by Mark Meer using his elf voice.

Been there. Done that.

I don't like Mark Meer. I don't know why he made Shepard sound so FRICKIN MONOTONOUS if he actually has the ability to not sound like someone with blunted affect but yeah. No.

And I love JH but her British accent is very... specific sounding. I don't know how well it'd fit with a protag. But I might just be too used to Rosalind now. And if she used her normal accent she'd have to be a dwarf.

Part of me likes the idea. But I don't think he could make it different enough for me NOT to hear Shepard all the time. And that would be too weird.

Its the only reason that I want to play as fem hawke again. but will settle with a cameo.

Please no Meer as a protaganist. Couldn't ever get through ME3
as a male character due to the poor voice acting. But I liked his
vorcha. So maybe throw his voice into a darkspawn.

He actually voiced most fo the DAO male protagonist voice sets. Seems like few people are aware of this small little fact.

I thought that male hawk had a very good VA expecially if you played a sarcastic hawk. also I could deal with mark meer if jennifer hale is fem protaginist VA
