Was anyone else bothered by the fact that the catalyst for SENSEN was that car accident. So because Scyalla is a **** and couldn't move on from it, Charles creates SENSEN to wipe away the memory of it. It seemed really superficial to me, I dunno I guess I was just expecting some Deus Ex type twists. 

At first I thought the same. However, when I got to the end I realised Charles created SENSEN not for Scylla, but for his "little smartie." He couldn't bear to see his daughter in pain and decided to use the technology he had been working on to remix her memory of the crash. He probably intended to use it on Scylla as well but she refused somehow and her memory of the event was still intact until Nilin tampered with it.

I'll write a review soon.

Charles Cartier Wells reveal at the end was really clever. It's an interesting concept, a choice both Selfish and Selfless to help Nilin. Oh and the fact he calls her "my little smartie" totally sells the Cartier Wells as family, It's just so heartbreaking.

After watching the vid published by the devs lately... I had no idea they wanted so much more in this game. I mean it shows at every corner, but... ALL THIS.

Got it for free on PS plus a bit back. It was pretty good if a little rough around the edges. Definitely gonna pick up the developers next game if they make another one.

I played this game last month, when it was free on PS+. It was all right, although it definitely had some weaknesses. And they really needed to have more of those memory alteration segments.

 

Yeah, the memory remixes are the most creative and fun part of the gameplay.

It's actually kind of similar what with the dodging and the punching. What exactly are you referring to?

The combat is not that bad though a bit repetitive. Personally, I found the camera to be more of a pain.

The combat really does need refining.  It's the linearity and how they still feel the need to tell you where to go that really bothers me. I never continued after I beat the first boss.
