okay, so ive heard some places that you can somehow "harden" Alistair so at the end you can keep him and loghaine alive and with you. my question is how do you do this and how does it happen AND can he rule alone or does he have to be with Anora.  PLEASE help me this would be PERFECTfor my desired ending

OK, I answered it in the other thread for you but this is a much better place for it. Harden Alistair from his personal quest. Select the "everyone is out for themeselves" and/or "You should look out for yourself more" dialogue options. You will still need to convince him to marry Anora and I'm not sure what the persuasion check is but if you are female and in a relationship w/ him it will be harder for you to convince him.



If he is NOT hardened then he will try to kill Logain or leave.



I've never tried this ending b4 but this is what the game guide states
