Yes, it's this thread again. Anyone who tries to dismiss the importance of fashion is wrong and should be fed to sharks.

So, ladies and gents! If you could have anything, what sort of clothing or hairstyles would you want for your Inquisitor? Is it pirate garb? Hoods and scarves? Lots of jewellry? Birds in your voluminous hair?

I've always wanted my guy to have the Aragorn-ey Ranger look, but so few games let me look as cool. :(

Shark armor for those heathen-hungry hammerheads.

I like cloak and hood. It's always the standard image I look for when creating a mage, although it pertains more to rogue and thief.

I want realistic hair, especially mid-length and long, for my male PC (although it's good to have it for females, too). I'm tired of having to cycle through a million plastic Friar Tuck hairstyles to get to one that makes my PC look at least halfway handsome. Some of the hairstyles in Dragon's Dogma would be ideal, or maybe something like Kai Leng's hair.

Um for clothes I want more practical fantasy than purely medieval-inspired. Please no more pushed up bosoms in lace-ed up bodices or tights and bloomers for men, ugh. No more ridiculously bulky heavy armor that looks like you'd need fifteen squires to help you remain standing, let alone suit up every morning.

Let's go more practical, like LOTR or Game of Thrones or what have you, those kinds of outfits ^^

Everyone from every class seems to suffer the humiliation of having to wear unfashionable chapeaus, and I hope that some time will be invested in creating stylish helmets, hats, and other headwear. I'd rather not look like a drunk Viking or a reject from Project Runway this time.

More armour for mages. And I mean actual amour, not flimsy robes and bikinis. Though if you are getting robes, I want creepy, sinister witch ones, or some that at least have amoured bits here and there. And maybe some nice, tailored coats...

Or just give me a bigger variety, rather than loads of re-colours.

No more mage robes. I don't want to see my mage in a skirt ever again. Ever.

But of course. That should go without saying.

Good looking hats would be nice. Mage pants would be appreciated as well.

For the Orlais part, at the least, lots of ruffles and lace and all sorts of colour.

And mage robes that don't look so pajama-y

I want female mages to have the option to wear saris. (There's a thread on that somewhere on this forum, but its deader than Non-Weapon Proficiencies and thanks to Thedas's dwarves it's somewhat more dead than race-class restrictions.)

I say different casual clothes for the depending on what country we are in I can't see Antivans dressing the same as the folks in Orlais. Armor I don't care how it looks as long as it keeps me and my crew alive.

Masks. The nobility of Orlais wears extremely elaborated and unique masks meant to convey social strata and I. Want. One.

More civilian clothing option. If the Inquisitor is going to hang around for a few days in an estate, inn or castle, does she really need to walk around in chafing armor or with heavy weapons clinging to her back?
