Y'know after the events of DA2 and Asunder I'd imagine mages would want to look a lot more casual and incognito now. That, or more armoured.

I want hair that isn't a hybrid of Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift styles like in DA2. =(
For clothes, if we're in Orlais, I hope a lot of class armor reflects that. In The World of Thedas, there's a small section about their fashion. I expect a Venice/Renaissance flair for Orlais, and Gothic-esque fashion in Tevinter.

I want at least one masquerade ball where am not the woman in the ugliest outfit please. Also is corset part of armour practical? I mean they'd be great for hiding knives. Less boobplate as well although DAII mostly did away with that.

1. PLEASE fix the hair. It's all pretty horrible.
2. Mage clothing needs improvement and could use a little "badass" element to it. Also the boob-outline on some of the mage robes for women looks... weird to me. Blech.
3. Give rogues tight, black/dark clothes. I'm not talking catwoman, but more like a ninja. But, you know, not *exactly* a ninja - but something along those lines.
Sidenote: I honestly don't know if anyone can legitimately beat Dragon's Dogma when it comes to fashion and customization.

As long as the ugly mage hats don't make a return, and mages retain the option to wear pants for that matter, I'll be happy as a clam. But mostly the hats. I think part of the reason the demons invaded the Circle in Ferelden was to eliminate those blighted things for existence.

they should have just said so, would have helped them escape the circle to continue purging them from the rest of thedas. (whenever i play a mage in da:o i REFUSE to equip a hat)

Decent looking mage pants/trousers wouldn't go amiss. Aside from that, I'd like to see some longer hairstyles available and some prettier upstyles. Oh, and some nice looking outfits that are dyed black.

I like how different Mass Effect kits have different balances of stats instead of being a constant upward progression. So you could choose a kit you like and stick with it instead of having to put on the frilly dress for its +20 magic bonus over your matching death knight armor from the last act.
