Armored Mage. Me likey
Posted Image

i want this

I approve +1. I want my mage to look like she can beat the crap out of you with her bare hands and take a sword to the gut. None of this running around in bathrobes and woolen dresses.

I also approve. This is what you call a mage armour. I want my PC character to look badass. My Warden looked pretty stupid going to the battle of Denerim to slay the Archdemon in a freaking bathrobe.
DAII's mage champion armour is going in the right direction.

Longer hairstyles, like below the shoulder blades or a braid, would be awesome. I also wouldn't mind seeing more pixie cuts, and up-dos.

An option for freckles. FRECKLES. And better tattoos that are preferably not pixelated. A wider selection would be nice, too.

As for clothing, more pants for mages! A corset would be a welcome sight, but I think that option would only suit a rogue and mage. Warriors need as much coverage as possible without being drowned in pauldrons or massive shoulder pieces. That piece of metal sticking out from the chest piece of the Champion Armor was...odd.

Nothing too spiky, either.

Yeah those bathrobes were not cutting it. I made one of my mage Hawkes bald o give him a more Buddhist type look to make the robes make more sense but I want to look badass. I love how he has a spell book chained to him and some scrolls equipped. the one thing that always disappointed me was not having my own spell book. Maybe they can find some sort of awesome way to use it in battle.

If I am going to wear some robes, then I wouldn't mind this: I think he looks very subtle and sinister

My wish is for outfits that don't look like they're straight out of a porn set or Dead or Alive like Isabella's in DA2.

For combat purposes, this was perfect. Could use some trimming of the gloves but aside from that, it's practical and isn't far-fetched.

For non-combat purposes, I'm in love with Dragon Age 2's ceremonial armor and concept art of noble clothing.

I want a gown absolutely festooned in ruffles!

mage robes that don't look like the bottom of my robes had a fight with my ankles.
Absolutely no Chasind robes if they look like DAO, they were awful, especially all the slashes up the arms.
Something that doesn't look like my character never saw the light of day.

As for hair, I'd like a wide variety, I like my mages to have long flowing hair, curly or straight, with or without accessories.
My rogues I like short to mid length and edgy.

YES.

Oh, how long have I gazed upon the PC gamers and their ability to mod freckles onto their characters with envy?
Pretty dang long, is how. It's kind of odd that they're never available in normal CC.

Actually I don't want fancy armor design. Many armors look good in picture, but might look utterly ridiculous in battle (and seriously, they are going to a dead of alive fight, not some fashion show in Milan). I'd rather simple armor / mage robes tbh. Noble clothes, however, can be as fancy as you like, because people wear those to parties, where everybody wants to show off. That being said, since Olais nobles are known for their...err.. colorful taste, if they could show us their party and their ridiculous fashion, it would be pretty fun.

I use TSM's method #2. You will have freckles in the Game CC. Come to think of it, I am pretty sure they are in stand alone CC too.

Cloaks for warriors and rogues would be cool.

I have a preference for heavy armor without the giant shoulder plates. Like Wade's Heavy Dragonscale armor instead of the plate armor, but that is my thing,  :)
I also love the ancient Elven armor. I do like the DA2 armors also. It's always nice to have a choice.

  I had to add a video card to play on this computer. I found 2 of them on ebay, so I have a back-up ready just in case.

I'd like a little... less. Not less coverage or anything, but for rogues and mages... something simple without all the weird attachments and spikes and the feeding trough pictured above. I liked the rogue armor you are wearing as you run from Lothering, for example, and I don't mind the mage outfit with the vest thing and pants. Or Cassandra's armor in Dawn of the Seeker.

Hair wise I would love a braid, or a ponytail that isn't stick thin. Maybe something messy, and some short hair like default Hawke.

Also: eye shadow that is not neon. Black would be wonderful, plain eyes look weird to me, I'd love something that could just line them a tiny bit.

Sorry I meant the massive armour, the heavy armour with the massive sholder pad always looked odd to me.

When it comes to heavy armour I really like random cloth-bits that flow when you fight. I just think they look really cool. I also like it when it looks practically the same on male and female characters.

As for rogues I just love long coats- they look awesome.

Mages are probably in most need of love armour-wsie though, as I can't stand mage outfits in Dragon Age games. The lack of trousers is what gets me the most- I'm fine with capes and long coats but why can't they just have the option to wear trousers!?
I think we should have some casual clothes for when we're at base- like the casual clothes Shepard can wear in Mass Effect. I'm not sure what I'd want them to look like though.

I like everything on the above armor except the pointy shoulder spikes. I don't like huge shoulder plates or anything that obscures the head. That's what helmets are for :P
